That was a fun episode of extra play. Very much coolness. And that game looks WAAAAY too hard for this kitty. >0.0<

Very much this. Lies videos are always a crunch for us (basically, we have less than a week to get the video ready) but there was a lot of what I would call meta-discussion to be had with this one.

But it's more funny when they panic and run away!

You mean the pieces of The Device, right? I don't think so - I'm sure they always smoke to reveal their location, and I don't believe they ever get moved. Except by you, of course.

Extra History

I'm glad you liked it! We'll still try to get Lies up as soon as we can. <3

He would be so proud to be described that way.

So, facepalm on that one. We WERE going to - it was in the notes - but in recording, we somehow skipped over that section and never noticed. I was thinking I might post a Wikipedia link or something when Lies is ready, but until then, I'll fill in the gaps! After Suleiman died, the battle was won. His death was kept a secret until his body could be returned to Istanbul, to ensure that power transferred safely to Selim II. Fun side note, though! Another Patreon, who goes by Chamboozer on here (I'd tag him if Patreon let me), tells me that Suleiman's organs were buried where he died and a mausoelum constructed on top of them. That tomb then became a site of pilgrimage, but it was destroyed in the 1680s. A Hungarian historian just uncovered the remains of what we believe to be that mausoleum last December, and excavation (which will hopefully confirm it!) began this month.

I guess this may be the downside of the storytelling format you took for the Suleiman videos. It allowed for some poweful narrative moments - buuut more lies that have to be talked about.
