No vacations this time, unless you count uh... I guess a mental vacation of sorts.

In the long run, (honest) trade is beneficial. In the short term, the sudden improvements can have negative consequences.

I wonder if the king will suddenly take a vacation and have everything collapse due to it. Can't wait

One thing I've really come to love about this show... every time a new topic is voted in, it's something I know little/nothing about and have no excitement in seeing on the show. Then, the first episode of the series comes along, and within the first minute I'm 100% on board to learn about this awesome new-to-me tidbit of history. You guys keep doing what you do, and I'll keep being slightly disappointed/super excited about new topics.

that's kind of interesting trade between the tribes and the British destabilized the area. Generally speaking trade is supposed to benifical to both party's. but it seems the gap in there relative advancements did more harm.

Oh my goodness this is amazing! I can feel my horizons being expanded!

Would love to see what sources you've used. Congrats on the weekly format. I'm really exited to watch you talk about history I probably did way back my primary school days.

The Zulu people are both fascinating/awe-inspiring and tragic piece of African history.
