Must...have...more...history... Seriously, guys, you left me on a terrible cliffhanger here, my sleep is ruined.

Only six for the whole period? No wonder I felt this was a bit rushed given the pacing of the last three. Was thinking closer that it was six episodes for each hero of the period. Shame really but understandable. Also, I think an opportunity for tangential learning was really missed to at least name drop that the Takeda/Tokugawa battle was at Mikatagahara and the Uesugi flood attack was the Battle of Tedorigawa.

The Fall of the Takeda is also the historical basis for Kagemusha, the 1980 film by Akira Kurosawa, if anyone's interested.

I see a potential part 2 of this in the future!!! Please please please?? :D

Backstabbing samurai. What's Japanese for "Game of Thrones"?

Oh, you have no idea how much it pained James to cut this down to a mere six episodes. Hopefully we managed to fit enough highlights in there to get people to dig further in and find the rest of the interesting stuff on their own.

Aww man I have to wait till after Christmas to find out :(

Great work as always. I was hoping for more Toyotomi Hideyoshi on the scene, but I guess now it will be his time ^^

I understand that you have little time and much to tell, but just this period (with the battles against Takeda and Uesugi) had some of the more interesting events that I had hoped you would elaborate more upon. Alas, for a short summary, the episode was good enough.
