So basically if it wasn’t for iruka sensei Naruto might’ve ended up just like gaara.

Naruto and gaara honestly had basically the same childhood but you guys forgot an important detail which is in Episode 1 when Naruto stole the forbidden scroll and then he thought iruka (the one friend he thought he had at the time) didn’t actually like him and then iruka put his life on the line to protect him from that other jonin (forgot his name) and then talked so much good about Naruto while he was hiding and Naruto heard it all and just started crying then he summoned all those clones to save iruka and I think that was the turning point for Naruto which caused him not to go down a dark path compared to gaara who didn’t have anyone like that.

We thought it was him on that picture in the room at first. We also weren't sure about his gender, because they fooled us with Haku a while back

I feel like you guys were overthinking with Yashamaru’s gender. But I get it, the picture in the room probably threw you off.

Yashamaru is a man. Though I understand it's hard to trust the show ever since finding out Haku had a 🍆 in the Zabuza arc 💀.
