Kaizen

I agree. It was so interesting and deep!

Ryan Bayley

Chapter Black was also my favourite! The overall theme of it was very relatable with the bad humans

Kaizen

Thank you so much. That brings a smile to our faces! We're also sad it's over. Hopefully HxH will be as good as YYH

Kaizen

We're going to watch the OVA's and movies as well 😁

Mtownboi4ya

Amazing ending. --there's still a live action mini series on Netflix, an OVA, and an animated movie if you still have the Yu Yu Haku-itch.

Kaizen

Thank you so much! We're glad you liked the outfits haha. We'll be watching Hunter x Hunter whenever we finish all the OVA's and movies of Yu Yu Hakusho.😄

youre a manchild

I've been on this journey with you guys from episode one. Im happy you guys enjoyed it but im sad it's over. I really enjoyed both of your commentary throughout the show .

TheBigOne

Loved watching this show with you guys. So happy you dressed up as Yusuke and Keiko for the finale. It was only fitting. Excited for the next show!

DickGarrison

the territory powers in chapter black isn't what you would call random. It would be to human being expose to demon aura to where their souls creates powers to protect them. Where unlike how Sensui and Kuwabara were born with their spiritual powers. p.s They did a anniversary ep with the original VA with. It wasn't really that special but it was fun to watch and hear their voices again.

Shamir Smith

In the manga Kuwabara’s Dimension Sword is an upper S class ability since it’s truthfully it’s an ability humans should possess because it’s all the level of gods. I think it’s funny because all the ingredients ,from a great catastrophe to Kuwabara being a human with unparalleled spiritual awareness and a pure heart , came together and gave him the ability to awaken it. It’s really a once in a millennium phenomenon that everything was timed just right for the dimension sword to be born into the world. After Sensui’s death, Kuwabara is basically the strongest pure human psychic in existence at that point.

Shamir Smith

If you guys want to see more of Yusuke and his friends kicking ass you can watch The “Poltergeist Report” movie. Honestly, you could’ve watched it right before Kuwabara awakened his dimension sword but I suppose you could watch it now. Just think of it as an alternate timeline where Chapter Black didn’t happen.

Kaizen

We loved it too! These characters are all amazing in their own way and everyone of them deserve a happy ending. 🙏🏼

Kaizen

Haha that's what we were going for. We thought it would be a nice way to dress for the last episode. We could do more with our appearance and try to look more like them, but we didn't have the items at hand. That's why we said we are the Temu version of Keiko and Yusuke 😂

Kaizen

We'll check them out and probably upload them next week😁

Kaizen

Thanks for letting us know. Haha, that's amazing to know. Sadly, Genkai passed away, but she got all the love she deserved and went in peace ❤️

Kaizen

She's honestly pure fire 🔥

Kaizen

I couldn’t agree more!

Kaizen

Haha, no it doesn't sound cheesy. Those are great reasons to meet him and great qualities to have as a person

Kaizen

Yeah he is tied to everything that happened

Kaizen

I like Hiei as well. He's has a unique personality and to see him grow and develop was heart warming. His attack is one of the sickest ones in YYH. Honestly, that's an amazing idea for a tattoo!

Kaizen

Thank you so much my friend 🙏🏼 Your support means the world to us and we're so happy to connect with you guys through the comments. We'll be uploading the movie and OVA next week. After that we'll start our Hunter x Hunter journey. Your favorite character list sounds like a mix between both our favorites. Maaike's favorites are Yusuke, Kurama and Genkai. Mine are Toguro and Sensui!

Kaizen

We're going to watch it and upload it next week! 😁

Kaizen

Thank you for watching and for your support. You're always so kind to us. We really appreciate it. We enjoyed YYH so much and we'll be watching the movie and OVA before we'll start with Hunter x Hunter!

Kaizen

Thank you for your kind words and we're so grateful you joined us on our YYH journey. We'll definitely watch the movie and OVA as well. This anime was truly amazing and we're so glad you guys voted for YYH last year on Youtube. Even though we've never seen it before, it gives a certain nostalgic feeling that we love as millennials. We'll be watching Hunter x Hunter next

Tacosareneat

This is my favorite anime of all time. It might have a rushed ending, but im9 it has the greatest characters and dialogue in all of anime. These characters are just special. So glad to have watched with you both

Moker_B

Thank you both for reacting to YYH! it's a legendary anime at this point and I'm glad it's still getting the love it deserves. For a anime that started out in 1992, it still holds up very well

Richard Rodgers

Thank you both for this wonderful journey with such an amazing anime and seeing your reactions brought much joy. The last arc while a bit rushed still wraps up beautifully in the end. Myself and others hold this show very dear to us especially growing up and I think you both now will have that same feeling. As others say there's still a movie and an OVA left to watch and if you loved this anime you'll love HunterxHunter.

White walker, so I’m on the Bean

Watch the OVA to see the real ending

C. Rogers

Thank you two so much for reacting to this masterful series, and spending some extra time deep-diving here in your cosplays! It has been so wonderful to get to know the both of you through your reactions to this, as well as DB (and hopefully other shows once I catch up on them myself in order to watch along, aha)! Please enjoy the movies and OVAs! [So hard to pick my favorite character, even after all these years; Yusuke, Kurama, and Genkai are all at/near the top of that list, however, with Sensui and Toguro in the mix!]

Shamir Smith

I glad you guys loved this series. It was easily one of my favorites growing up.

Shamir Smith

I guess I like Hiei too because he's a badass short guy, and his Dragon of the Darkness Flame is the sickest attack in the show and the tattoo of it is sick too. I was thinking if I ever got a tattoo I'd want the Dragon of the Darkness Flame wrapping around my arm like Hiei.

Shamir Smith

Some consider Sakyo the main overarching villain of the series because so much of what happens in the story is facilitated by him going all the way back to when Sensui was traumatized seeing the Black Black Club torture demons.

Shamir Smith

I'd like meet Kuwabara. He's a goof guy, but he has strong morals and ethics and has a pure heart. God that sounds cheesy doesn't it? lol

Shamir Smith

I'm not sure if I have a favorite character. Well, I liked Sensui as a villain because he was very well written had had a lot of depth and he wasn't just pure evil for the sake of being evil. He was many shades of gray.

Shamir Smith

For me Genkai is one of the first real badass female shonen characters.

Shamir Smith

This is stuff that's in the epilogue in the manga: Genkai dies peacefully of old age several months after Yusuke returns in the summer of 1999. Yusuke opens a ramen noodle stand which also is a cover for a private eye agency he founded. He basically works as an independent contracted spirit detective and his friends still help him on cases. Here's a funny one: Koto, Juri, and Ruka (the demon from the Dark Tournament that pretended to be a nurse) become a popular girl group in Living World and tour. They're on talk shows and magazine covers. lol
