It will be next! 🔥

Victor

Is it greedy to hope Hunter x Hunter would be next? 😅

Shamir Smith

These last 2 episodes were basically Kurama’s and Hiei’s characters coming full circle.

Shamir Smith

Hiei and Makuro’s relationship is very complicated.

I'm loving the reactions! I'm going to be so sad once it's over!! 😭😭

What a journey it's been, huh! You guys are the reason I signed up for Patreon - and while I will greatly miss YYH reactions, there is a lot to look forward to! "It's time for something new!" Well said. Anything in mind at the moment?! Saint Seiya, Rurouni Kenshin, and Slam Dunk are all ones I would recommend for similar era of production vibes! If you are seeking more of a change-up, the mecha genre would be a great place to look; the original Gundam presents a great starting point (43 episodes, but offers a very expansive storyline that continues in follow-up series set within the Universal Century timeline). So, if you can forgive my rambling, I look forward to whatever you guys decide on! (Even planning on watching Naruto just because I would like to check out those reactions!)

I’m not ready for this series to end 😭 you guys are the first Patreon I ever joined just for this

Here's some nice short anime series that I really enjoyed: Fighting anime - Baki the Grappler 2001, 48 episodes Mind games anime - Death note 2006, 37 episodes Kaiji Ultimate Survivor, 2007. 52 episodes

I highly recommend y'all watch Invincible after this if y'all haven't yet.

Hiei was green because he wasn't supposed to be continue on after that arc. He really is the Vegeta of Yu Yu Hakusho. Also you hear Koenma say that killing Makuro wasn't Heie's intentions.

Smitty

I think Hiei and makuro become lovers.... It's a little more apparent in the manga.

Richard Rodgers

There's quite a bit of Makuro's backstory that was left out of the anime most likely due to the subject matter and I will spare you from the most horrific details as they're downright sickening but basically the reason she looks the way she does was after all the sexual abuse she went through as a child she ultimately poured acid on herself so that her captor wouldn't want her anymore. She's a truly tragic character much like Hiei and them being able to come to an understanding and show compassion for each other to leave their pasts behind is such fantastic writing by Togashi.

Fun fact: the last arc was rush due to togashi health was getting bad. So he rush before something bad to him. His health gotten bad during the dark tournament arc. Oh btw, if you didn’t know but Sasuke is literally a copy paste of Hiei in Naruto.
