While Vegeta did help, he also was the reason Gohan was nerfed.

Always an amazing Episode. Great to see you guys finally made it!

Triforce of Shadows

If you look close he ended up in the air as he moved the beam up as it went through cell's body. (I just caught in this watch-through as well. Always thought it was a little weird he was in the sky flying the next scene, but I think this is plausable) edit: Arcing like in the Saiyan Saga and pulling up.

You know one thing that always stumped me was how would Cell winning the beam struggle result in the earth's end when Gohan didn't destroy earth with his. It was very implied Cell's beam struggle win would blow up earth. Unless they meant cell would just beat gohan then destroy earth.

Vegeta: "Gohan, quick! Take my PIANO!!!" Let's remember it was Vegeta's Super Saiyan theme that was still playing while Gohan was firing a full power Kamehameha!
