The order thing is used I think because Gohan's name is also name in Japanese for rice cakes, and also used as for describing a meal itself. AsaGohan = Breakfast HiruGohan = Lunch YoruGohan = Dinner They are only hearing bits and pieces of what they are saying, so big game of telephone.

Yeah he could actually told him that without any problems, but knowing Gohan he would probably be very tense and anxious before the tournament even started. That's my take and she feels the same way haha. What about you?

Do you guys think Goku should have at least gave Gohan a heads up? Maybe told him in the days leading to the tournament that it was up to him to defeat Cell.

Nah i don't think Goku counted on cell getting desperate or losing interest lol. He gave him the senzu bean because he was an idiot who thought gohan could get angry from getting beat up or pushed in battle. As far anime goes it makes sense since we get a filler hyperbolic time chamber flashback as to why Goku thought the way he did. The manga makes even less sense

Goku knew that if Cell continued to lose energy in a battle of attrition, he would become disinterested in the fight and blow up the Earth. He also knew that only a fully powered Cell could push Gohan to the next level, which was the only way of destroying Cell for good. He's not as stupid as everyone thinks, not on the battlefield anyway.

Gohan fought Raditz,Nappa,Vegeta,Freiza's henchmen,Dodoria,Guldo,Recoome,Captain Ginyu,Frieza,Android 20 up until this point and got the best of a few of them in his fights with them,but he doesn't have fighting experience lol

I agree with the people that say Goku made the right call. People initially hate on him for this decision, but if Cell got desperate enough in his tired state, he might've decided to stop f*cking around, go full power and take out Gohan before he's able to unleash his potential. Then they're all boned at that point because no one is even close to Cell's full power.
