Development update #26
🕑 Added 2024-04-16 12:00:51 +0000 UTCHello nerds. It appears that my progress updates have fallen back to being monthly. This isn't intentional, I'm just pretty bad at this stuff lol. I'll try to bring them back to once every 2 weeks, but for now I'll explain generally why they're not.
Essentially, development continues but because of how I've been developing this update, there isn't much to report other than "There is more stuff done than there was last post". It's a lot of spoilery stuff which I can't really go into without it actually being spoilers, so I'm not gonna. I've included this image of Akemi because without the context I don't think anyone will really know what's going on here. Guess we'll see. A lot of what's already been done is stuff that I couldn't really include screenshots from without being definitely spoilers.
This update is a strange one in that whilst it's just a normal content update in theory, I'm also bringing the game up to date in terms of translation compatibility so that people can translate it officially into other languages in the future. (There's already a Russian translation on the way. That's not likely to be of interest to anyone here, but it's a thing that's happening.)
On top of that there's the standard stuff like bug fixes, but most of the delay on this one is just IRL work. I'm trying my best to get it done as fast as I can, but the world doesn't care about that, so there's a little delay. I still don't know exactly when this one's coming out, but will update when I have a better idea of it.
I don't have much else to say, so instead I'll just include this image of the breakfast wrap I made today. (The update may or may not be better than the breakfast wrap.)

By now the wrap is 15 days old (I just got here) but it still looks good to me ๐.

Im willing to believe the update will be better than that breakfast wrap, but thats a damn good wrap... so expectations have been set.
