The host got into the helicopter and approached the balloon with Mai suspended from it.
"Alright, the balloon is steadily ascending and will soon reach ten minutes. The altitude is also increasing, and we've reached a height where the clouds are visible below.
He needs to press the bomb defusal key quickly, or she'll fall headfirst from this height."
Meanwhile, Mai was completely unable to move, trapped in real handcuffs.
"Mmphhhhh! (Seriously, I can't move at all! What am I supposed to do?!)"
The host watched Mai hanging below the balloon, still struggling.
"Is she having trouble unlocking the handcuffs? She's still hanging there.
She said earlier that she liked heights, but I didn't realize she liked them this much. But there isn't much time left! Is she really okay being so relaxed?!"
The host thought that, like the previous water tank escape, he would cut the timer switch at the last possible second.
But even he, with his dull senses, could tell that something was wrong with her.
He brought the helicopter close to her, but couldn't get any closer for fear of contact.
"This is bad. The bomb is about to explode. If I get caught in the blast, my helicopter might crash too. Mai, good luck."
The man gave Mai a quick bow with one hand, then turned the helicopter around and left her behind.
