First of all before I type out this message I want to thank you Flix and the FlixTalk family for hosting this and being apart of it. I've had a tough week but this has been in the back of my mind all week, it's kept me going through very tough days, dark days this week where I have had zero motivation for anything. All I tried thinking about was this, I was watching Jaws as a community with people I genuinely consider friends. The film is and always will be special to me, probably up there with my favourite films of all time. The story, the acting, the brutality of the kills, the score everything was perfect. Had me near tears by the end for two reasons. 1. As stated my week has been horrendously tough, I won't go too much into it but very dark thoughts. But this made me realise I have people I can hang out with, laugh with, enjoy movies with but most important of all call friends. I recently lost two so called friends because they betrayed me, bullied me and tried to use me for monetary gain which is useless as I am broke 9 times outta 10. I lost a third friend that I was trying to help through a very dark period of his life because I tried helping him. But in spite of that I have gained so many more. 2. This movie as I have already stated a thousand times is very, very special to me, even more so now, I watched this for the first time aged 5, maybe earlier I'm not entirely sure. I remember the feeling of enjoyment and happiness I got from it but since age 12 I haven't watched it at all, for some weird reason. I guess I moved on, had over movies etc. I used to own every single Jaws Movie in a box set but since then it has gone I only have 1 and 3. The Revenge was and is one of if not my favourite sequel in Jaws but after tonight nothing beats the original. A true 10 out of 10. Thanks again Flix and Flix Fam! Ps. I am sorry for the essay I just thought I'd let you know what this has meant to me! :)
