Help me bugtest HOUSE ON CHERRY BLUFF - WEEK 2!
🕑 Added 2025-08-20 07:30:30 +0000 UTCI'm still working on Week 2 of The House on Cherry Bluff, but I'm almost done!!! I just need to write the "House Games" endings, which will take some time because there are a bunch -- you'll see what I mean :)
But I need your help. Week 2 is all about earning 10 points with at least one of the characters. There are tons of different ways to play, so rather than try to play-test them all by myself, I thought I'd let you guys give it a try. Many hands makes light work, right??
NOTE: If you play PAST the point of Friday night in Week 2, you'll start running into the stuff I'm half-finished writing. You can ignore everything after choosing a partner for the House Games!

Let me know if you run into bugs before Saturday of Week 2 (that's where this demo ends). I also want to be sure I haven't made things too hard, or too easy...and of course, if you like certain scenes or have ideas for future content, make sure to let me know.
I'm (clearly) having so much fun with this (and I really hope you are too), but I am working on other projects as well, so expect some other updates soon. STAY TUNED!!!!

Fixed Amanda's bedroom accidentally routing to the TV room
Fixed "no continue button" issue with the demon summoning
Fixed problem with Candice DOM option ("...Halloween...")
Fixed Amanda calling you Amanda in restaurant scene
Added exit to the "use treadmill" scene
Fixed "no continue button" error in Amanda's event path
Fixed error with secret code in Bella's event (SO sorry...)

I definitely don't want those events to repeat. That was happening with Fiona, but I just fixed it!

Great catch, Flow -- you're right about the +2 bug. To get the friendship event, you've got to be at nine. The "groundhog day" problem on Day 1 of Week 3 is something slightly different, though, which I fixed in a different way. Just FYI, this is the WEEK 2 bugtest post. You don't need to repost or anything but if you find more Week 3 bugs make sure to put them on the more recent post :)

Also, maybe not a bug but friendship quests have a tendency to repeat when you visit people in their rooms (at least initially)

So I've run into a few things so far. It seems like friendship quests can get bugged if you get a +2 that puts you past 9. So if you start at 8, get a +2 and go straight to 10 it won't activate. This might have caused a cascading series of bugs for me when it happened with Amanda, because I ended up being stuck on day 1 of week 3.
