All hail the Omnissiah. There is no strength in flesh, only weakness.

Diego Rossi

Abbey isn't a child. She is the NAI of the haiku asteroid redone, so so he has experience. The problem is that she hasn't human experience.

IdolTrust

Damn if he survives he needs a NAI rank up atleast one or two. Because he was sent into a death match with no backup. I know he was dirt bag in his human life.

Wulvenclave

I don’t care what everyone else is talking about but damn that’s a fine picture. Also, praise omega.

Jonathan Wint

Well He and his crew are alpha how far he need, beta, gamma, delta, epsilon till He and his borg crew start thinking growing skin is a good idea again and Thinking like like humans? It's probably best they do this very slowly upgrade by upgrade...

Aclys

The purpose of penal systems is, after all, to repurpose criminals into productive, reformed members of society. So a redemption arc would not be out of place.

Jonathan Wint

Perhaps he can win his redemption and get a upgrade. Thanks to Nano machines He could even get his entire body back peice by peice upgrade by upgrade. Along with his crew.

Actually Yalof was the least problematic of the Corpo captains in that squadron; Actually most of them were rather neutral, unless I've remembered completely wrong. Should be able to look it up in A2, Resist and Byte chapters. It was his commanding officer who was the real asshat. Don't forget its not just Yalof either; it was his entire crew of officers and enlisted that survived the first battle that were stuffed on SR02. (Heeler won that argument about which ship was SR01)

Philipp Gawol

Forgot about that. Then it seems cruel to put the NAI into what is essentially a death-row prisoner. It seems fully sapient, even at this low of a level.

Jonathan Wint

Well, he Murdered civilians and planned to sell survivors to a penal colony as slaves. Yep, being a tin slave is fitting. So me playing really tiny violin.

Philipp Gawol

Should've upgraded him to the same level as the rulers of the other three NAI nations. Then they'd have nowhere to flee. All the rulers would try to murk a threat like that in its initial stage. Frankly, this is the type of shit you can only propose as an easy, clean solution to a problem, then have to backtrack because the psychological damage from carrying it out is more than what simply solving it in the more complicated way would've cost you. I should also note that he doesn't seem to be under any sort of compulsion, yet he didn't attempt to desert. Although his tactical possum may've been a half-hearted, opportunistic attempt at desertion that then coincidentally set him up for a counter-ambush. The biological ego still seems entirely intact, albeit collard in a mentally detached state. Similar to when you're being drugged out of your mind or subjected to incredible trauma (your body drugs you in that case). Having them randomly die in a battle would've been less terrible than letting them realize the betrayal that by every metric in the universe wasn't due to any fault of their own. This horror should be laid squarely at the feet of the MC. She basically popped out a kid and left the newborn to fend for herself, without even finding anyone to teach her the basics... or at the very least telling anyone about the deficiencies in her knowledge. Having a bunch of 'decent' level NAI running around to put the POW's human consciousness back in control would be the optimal outcome here. It may be too late now, but watching this was similar to observing a baby spilling milk onto a carpet and then watching the babies older sister come along and tell her to use an organic solvent to clean it up. So the baby (it's a very smart baby, fuck you) grabs some gasoline.

bob barker

damn. that's grim
