or just to prove a point, have Alex show her official status as Omega, but that's a terrible idea as well. (Just got to where I can read these chapters and don't know what might have happened yet in the next few.)

Unknown

Good question.

TheOne320

But then why tell people she is a Psi? She will have to prove it either way.

Unknown

But then the question becomes how? Remember, as far has the current civilization is concerned there are four Psi who stand as the leaders of the four major nations. It is not a trivial thing if it was possible to upgrade all the way to their level, because it disrupts the current system that is built around there only being four of them.

Diego Rossi

Probably Tia is waiting to maximize the shock effect of proving she isn't bluffing when she say she is a Psi.

TheOne320

Can’t they somehow prove that Tia is a Psi? That would solve a lot.

Hmm... It seems like most of the unconstructive squabbling could be solved with the Envoys actually meeting Tia at least once. Their HUDs should show them that she's a Psi now. And, as far as I understood, Tia seems to be something of a unique case between NAI, being the biological child of a Psi, converted to an NAI years after birth. I don't know what explanation Tia has prepared (she said, she had one), but this could play into it. It could also buy them years in which the other 4 try to replicate the 'process' unsuccessfully. The power situation will very much have changed by then anyway. If this whole politics arc hinges on them not believing that Celestia indeed is a Psi now for much longer, I'll honestly have to question why they're not simply offering proof. Sure, Tia is busy. But as it looks now, they won't be getting anywhere with the current status quo.

I was about to say the same thing these are diplomats that literally thought of a young woman NAI as an object to be dissected. Not exactly someone the other Empires will trust. I could see it happen though you just need someone in power to gate keep.

Philipp Gawol

>“They’re down on the surface; the experienced staff are all part of the anti-NAI faction…” You wouldn't want your diplo-staff to be openly hostile to your allies/enemies, makes it too easy to read your intentions. You'd want people who are out of the loop of the actual hostile plan. Then you can give them objectives and boundaries to negotiate within. It completely eliminates the chance of a leak from that direction, while at the same time either stalling or maintaining amicable relationships with your targets for extermination. Of course it could've happened during the political battle for dominance, so it's hardly unreasonable. It just seems really fucking stupid. Also, what happened with the serial killed NAI?

"The hiss of air from the door sliding open interrupted their banter. Rachel quickly slid off Alex’s lap and stood up as the Corporate Systems Envoy entered the lounge. “Am I interrupting something?” The Corpo Envoy asked, her yellow eyes flickering between Alex and Rachel." this got fixed, sorry if it was messed up before
