It's a race based on the Primagen, by the same original artist. While the Primagen is a closed species and one can only legally have one through adoption from the original designer, the Protogen is open and has a large range of options to choose from. They are 40% cybernetic and their limbs work on a plug-and-play system and can be easily swapped out for whatever task they're intended for, which is really handy since they are designed for space exploration. There's a lot more I could say here, but I'll let those who care to know follow this link instead. They explain it better than I do and I doubt everyone here wants to read a mile long post. runesfurryblog.wordpress.com/tag/protogen-species/ Thanks for the awesome pic and great ideas Vad. Beautiful work as usual ^_^
