But this is only my random thoughts, just was curious)

Pegasus can be held by cloud because cloud has more float than Pegasus has weight. Pegasus is lightweight. Surface tension of cloud is strong. Land softly and it holds. But hit too hard, it breaks. But surface tension of water is fragile. Could hold but just breaks!
