Archer concept Sketch
🕑 Added 2019-07-31 17:42:30 +0000 UTCI didn't draw just four days but feel like I didn't draw whole year, very unpleasant feeling^^
And just for warming up I decided to draw little sketch concept)
Only now I think that deer hunter looks really strange cuz they are vegans and so they don't need to hunt...
Anyway let's assume this one is forest keeper)
Also, don't know why but I always associated deer with elves^^
Interesting am I alone or someone else thinks that deers have similarity with elves?)

He looks very cool, this has got to be my favourite anthro picture you've done yet!

Nice задница on your олень мальчик
Crimson Flare
Well, you did a great job with this buck! :)

Heh, I agree, to be honestly first I thought about to drew Doe^^ But I never drew anthro male character so I decided to draw male now)
Yakovlev-vad
Oh my, I am really happy that you think so, thank you very much ^_^ Honestly I thought to do something like this with my OC, but my OC is not hunter^^
Crimson Flare
A female deer (doe) version would be sick! Love the way you draw deers! <3

I love how cool this looks!! You're amazing at character design. Maybe you could put your OC in a position like this.
Yakovlev-vad
Really happy that you like it ^_^ You are too kind to me^^

Honestly I thought about engraving which characterizes his experience. The most experienced hunters will have fully engraved horns. I also think about tattoo if the hunter is doe )
Yakovlev-vad
He, sounds unusual, I like it)

*squeack >w< And I had same thought)
Yakovlev-vad
Hm... it is true, forest needs protection too) Also I like your comparison with Dryads from Warcraft)
Yakovlev-vad
Happy that you think so, thank you ^_^
What a wonderful work!! He looks really amazing and well defined!! ^^ excellent! I agree with most comments regarding the relation and the use of a bow. Can be use for defending. Keep going! You do not stop to delight us!
Granpa_Pony
That's an interesting tribal marking on his antler. A Guardian of the Forest!
Xinef
One of my OCs is a pony ranger who hunts with a bow. She mostly hunts carnivorous plants, since there's plenty of those in the Everfree forest. Then she cooks them in a campfire with wild herbs, tasty (and vegan :P )!
RhythmPixel
That's a nice looking deer! I like his hoof wraps and fetlocks. And I always thought deer were like elves since they usually thrive in forests
L4m3ness
Oh, he looks lovely :) Maybe he is defending the forest against wolves, wargs and other baddies? Hmm, the connection might come from the Dryads of Warcraft. Also both creatures are typically connected to the forest (forest elves vs stags/deer).
EchoBatPony
Damn, he is looking real good. Really liking how this looks.
