Feeding the hungry sounds like a transcendent wish, prosperity probably had the wish to control all through the market. In order to overcome the system you must have a system breaking ideal to guide you. Elijah is probably to grow things in whatever environment he arrives in. Cleansing all of corruption

Sara... Solving poverty, huh? Good luck w/ that. A quick fix would be to give up money altogether, but even the 'system' in its great wisdom hasn't found a way around that. Or You could remind ppl that everything in the cities has a price for their goods and services, but everything outside of them is free. Free fruit trees. Free animals to hunt or gather, and farm. But you just have to remember, you will be on the menu as well. Live within the system, or live free with nature. Its the ppl who are willing to stay in the cities, while failing to keep up with the monetary systems that are suffering the most. They are failing to 'improve' themselves, yet decide to create families that only add to their current burdens. (I'm guessing here) If they decided to embrace the new way of things, gain power/strength/skills, I'm pretty sure they'll be able to survive in or out of any city. Not easily, but they won't be begging for a meal in the streets. So her real task is the same one the EOS faced... How to make sure everyone remains 'ambitious' and task-driven! Solve that, and poverty should solve itself. -----------------

I wonder how her skills evolve , it seems she is heading for an admin type class, so would her power be similar to an ultramarine? Able to maintain many task and forethought on results of her changes. A ledger that follows her around writing on its own. Will she passively affect a larger area causing a subtle effect? This is what I love about this universe Elijah will never be able to execute the same effects as other classes but he achieves victory. Chapters like these though make me wonder if this stories main antagonist could have been several other characters. Kurik, Miguel, Carmen, Benedict, and yes even Sadie.

Damn Elijah’s views sometimes annoy me so much. It’s probably good writing. IIRC just giving people in poverty money via wire transfer is actually one of the most efficient ways of improving their lives because they know the best of anyone what they need. I understand he’s meant to be a flawed bullshitter but I still feel the need to disagree with him. Ttfc
