Yes but colloquially or by informal standards his usage of it there is correct. Kind of splitting hairs here, would you question a book calling someone a murderer even if it was techniqually manslaughter.

Sara working with Atticus makes sense but I assumed she would also take a look at the charity like she did Ironshore. Elijah literally acknowledges that he doesn't pay it much attention, so unless Atticus does, there is probably corruption as he suspects. But why just ignore it when he has two trusted merchants he could ask to audit it, and when they can't really complain as even if they try to dispute his founder status he is the strongest person on the planet. We don't know a lot about the charity so it could show how that all works and what it does.

She was never friendly. Even the leopard interacted with Elijah more, even if it was shaking him down for treats.

Sara should adopt a dog. A golden retriever ideally because Elijah is a golden retriever so it fits. Then when she goes back to the empire it will go the world tree version of viral and drive insane demand for retriever puppies such that there will be horrific puppy mill crimes here to for unthinkable to modern man. This will be a good source for relatively low stakes drama and ethical reasoning for Sara. And also a good source for lots of money. And puppies.

I am so curious what his class will become now that he has made a partnership. He has made an alliance with literally the best faction/dragon. Prosperity merchant lol. I know Elijah is a genius but Atticus is going to be a king. I want to know his class skills so bad.

I kind of wish for Elijah to go to Amsterdam! Imagine what the Dutch could do to their country now! And maybe go to a couple more cities... maybe London, Berlin?

Lol Selene was able to order Elijah not to heal Atticus. Even being a terrifying dragon does not stop the ingrained fear one feels towards close friend’s partners bahaha

"Negative reinforcement was a good teacher, if a harsh one." In behavioral science, negative reinforcement mean encouraging a behavior (reinforcement) by removing (negative) a stimulus/reward. What Elijah and Atticus did with Sara was postive punishment. Discouraging a behavior (punishment) by adding (positive) a stimulus (the hang over). In short, the postive/negative adjectives are used quantitatively, not qualitatively.
