This is the “protection” that Kirlissa is providing so that he is not assassinated. I think we are already seeing that she is hoping some of the virtuosity that Elijah shows for cultivation may rub off on Mano as well, which may be the more real reason.

Anyone else think Sara could've been part of these last two chapters??? LOLOL ---------- Mano is a Transcendant, yet he can just 'hang around' with Elijah? How is that possible? Was it explained and I missed it???

I like the fact Mano is pretty straightforward. He likes fighters. He was originally worried because he thought Elijah wasn’t draconic enough. The moment he saw how viciously Elijah fought he immediately dropped those concerns and accepted him into family rather than stubbornly ignore what his eyes told him. Same thing with Elijah’s mantle. He said cultivation isnt his path before but now that he is seeing Elijahs weird mantle shenanigans he starts to pay attention.

I think it’s in one of the books that has been turned into a paper book. The mono is pretty much criticizing that she had chosen to adopt another child or something. He speaking with her after she I think gnome demigod who’s child tried to use Sara as a cultivation resource
