Honestly that line from Mano about how he is built for battle but Elijah is built for survival was extremely insightful and shows hes only pretending to be a meathead. The guy is def smart. He chose not to go the noncombat route. He chose to defy his mother. I like him a lot as a character

Even though tying the grove close to the Empire will definitely transfer his enemies to the become grove problem, I believe this will make Elijah that much dangerous in the empire. Definitely some idiot will mess with that he considers his and he will have to rise up to the occasion. When to dust settles, 1 or 2 clans will have no longer exist. After being uprooted.

The consequences will become significant in Orveth Kaal... or so I'd expect. When Cyran decides that he actually won the First Fang and that Elijah "cheated" him. So he'll confront him... and well he won't walk away.

I am surprised he used the nexus here. I figure one was for norveth, but I should have remembered planning isn’t his thing and it was a neat sounding spell. Hopefully he us able to add more nexus in the not ridiculously distant future

Lol. I feel like this is partly Kirlissas fault. After all her aura makes everything just work better, so she probably boosted the spell beyond what it would have originally managed.
