This arc is a million times better than all the primal realm and trials arcs. They were so boring and inconsequential that i skipped more than I read. This and the abyss arc have been good tho.

A good point that I did not consider. If it was just a normal tournament there wouldn't be any issue but with the system giving away levels things are a little murkier. Depending on where equipment rules fall, under the empires rules or the systems, there could be some form of punishment for Cyran. Given it is system based he could lose levels or get hit with an exp debt, and those would be minor compared to anything class, ability, or legacy related.
