Is ASMR Sensuous? π€ Jeepy Interviews Miss Synch
🕑 Added 2019-01-20 11:40:46 +0000 UTCDuring this awesome chat with Jeepy ASMR, we discussed many different topics including synesthesia, the positives and negatives of doing ASMR and also I touched on the idea that ASMR is sensuous as opposed to sensual. During the interview I actually say 'sensual' and I think I made this mistake because of how often I hear ASMR labelled in this way. However, I wanted to make it clear that I see ASMR as *sensuous* referring to the five senses, in which stimulation of one sensory or cognitive pathway (e.g., hearing) leads to automatic, involuntary experiences in a second sensory.
So let me know in the comments, do you think ASMR is sensuous or sensual, or something else?
