Chapter 165:Almo Mountain Plan
🕑 Added 2025-01-12 20:01:09 +0000 UTCAfter returning to the Breaking Clan, everyone started discussing future matters. Both Grandpa and the maternal grandfather were only lightly injured and would recover soon.
In the secret chamber of the Breaking Clan, several core elders gathered, and various carefully processed martial arts manuals were placed on the table.
Yang Podi thought for a moment before selecting the fourth and ninth levels of the mutilated version of the Mysterious Heaven Technique.
Yang Podi spoke to everyone: "Grandpa, I've already processed these manuals. Now, we can immediately copy 50 to 100 copies and send them to black markets across the continent for sale. We'll accept various treasures, Soul Coins, and similar items, but don't accept Soul Coin cards to prevent anyone from tracking us."
"Also, Dad, you and Shinian should go to Gengxin City and buy as many precious metals as possible. Our family's future defense will need them."
"During this time, Grandpa and the maternal grandfather will pretend to be injured after the duel and go into seclusion. The rest of us should act quickly, preferably in a grand manner. Our two clans should make full use of this opportunity to move towards Almo Mountain."
However, the maternal grandfather hesitated slightly: "Podi, aren't we acting too hastily? The construction of Almo Mountain hasn't even started yet. The building itself will probably take a year and a half."
Yang Podi shook his head: "After this duel, our clan has become famous across the world. Grandpa and maternal grandfather are recuperating, so we should take action while we can. Especially with the two powerful elders of the Spirit Hall seriously injured, I'm worried others might harbor ulterior motives."
The maternal grandfather still seemed confused: "Both Old Mountain Goat and I have shown such strength, so why would anyone try anything against us?"
Yang Podi smiled: "Now that our clan has demonstrated its strength, others will be even more cautious. I'm willing to bet that the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile School and the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan are probably already on their way here, and they're most likely planning a marriage alliance with us."
"Even the Clear Sky Sect might come, given how rare a powerful shield like ours is. Especially since we've seriously wounded the Spirit Hall's Chrysanthemum Douluo and Ghost Douluo."
His father, Yang Zhentian, seemed puzzled: "Shouldn't I be staying at home right now? That way, I can better handle the approaches from other forces. Besides, didn't you already make up with Ye Lingling? Why would they still want to form a marriage alliance?"
Yang Podi shook his head: "I'm not worried about Lingling, but I am worried about Shinian. If you don't personally handle it, I'm afraid something might go wrong, or Shinian might develop other thoughts. If you take action, they won't be able to trace it back to us."
"As for marriage alliances, besides me, there's Ping'an, Tianyue, and even my cousin. All three showed great potential during the Soul Master Tournament. They are all potential Title Douluos, so it's likely other clans might try to make moves."
After further discussion, everyone agreed to take immediate action.
Later, Yang Wudi and Yang Podi attended the clan's first elder meeting together.
In the meeting room, Yang Wudi sat at the head, with Yang Zhentian and the six other elders sitting around him. Yang Podi stood behind his grandfather.
Yang Wudi looked at the elders seriously and spoke: "I've gathered you all here today because there are a few matters I need to announce."
"Since leaving the Clear Sky Sect, our family has regained vitality after these years of development. In terms of high-end strength, our Breaking Clan and the Defense Clan combined are already not weaker than the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan, and we might even be on par with the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect."
"Especially in recent years, our family has developed very well, and our business is thriving, so we have accumulated some assets."
"However, lately, the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect and the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan have been looking to form alliances with us, primarily because they want us to join them in opposing the Spirit Hall."
"Our victory against the Chrysanthemum Douluo and Ghost Douluo of the Spirit Hall has cleared our family's shame and avenged us."
"After much thought, Old Rhino and I have decided to move the family to Almo Mountain. Nearly 300 kilometers around Almo Mountain is already Podi's domain, and it will be the residence for our families from now on."
"Additionally, there is another matter. The children, including Podi, have won the Soul Master Tournament championship, which has brought glory to our family. I have distributed the soul bones awarded to them. I hope everyone understands, as the children are the future of our family."
"Do any of you have any thoughts or objections? Feel free to speak up."
The six elders were silent for a moment, as they had already heard about the plan to move to Almo Mountain and had some understanding of the situation.
One elder spoke up: "Clan Leader, after we move to Almo Mountain, will the entire clan be living in seclusion, like the Clear Sky Sect, not involving ourselves with worldly matters?"
Yang Wudi glanced at Yang Podi: "Podi, you explain the plan for after we settle at Almo Mountain."
Yang Podi nodded: "Elders, we are not like the Clear Sky Sect. In fact, we should resemble other large sects more."
"After we move to Almo Mountain, we will establish our clan's headquarters there, and the members of our clan will live in the area."
"At the center of my domain, we will build a city. This city's main purpose is to provide various resources for our clan and to facilitate the trade of medicinal pills and other products our family produces."
"Once inside the domain, we will, like the Spirit Hall, help children within a 300-kilometer radius awaken their martial souls and set up an academy to educate these children. We will select talented individuals to join our clan as outer disciples, and those who perform exceptionally well can become inner disciples."
"As for the small sects around Almo Mountain, we will either assimilate them as outer sects or drive them out if they refuse. Of course, the treatment of inner and outer disciples will be equal, with resources being the main difference."
After Yang Podi finished speaking, the six elders appeared somewhat stunned. His approach seemed like the operating methods of the large sects, though the location was more remote.
The eldest elder, Yang Wulei, thought for a moment: "If we proceed this way, won't we have conflicts with the Spirit Hall or the Heaven Dou Empire?"
Yang Wudi shook his head: "With the strength of our Breaking Clan and the Defense Clan, the Spirit Hall won't interfere with our internal matters. Besides, once we settle in Almo Mountain, our core focus will be on building the academy. As for the Heaven Dou Empire, that's within Podi's domain, and the government won't obstruct us."
Yang Wulei still seemed reluctant: "We've been operating in the Heaven Dou region for over ten years. Are we really going to abandon it? It feels like a great loss."
Yang Wudi couldn't help but respond sharply: "I understand your feelings. Everyone finds the Heaven dou region peaceful, and we've made a lot of money here. But remember the Clear Sky Sect incident. After the Spirit Hall wiped them out, they haven't moved against us, but I'm afraid the time is coming for them to target other rising forces. To ensure the continuation and growth of our clan, we must move away from this trouble spot."
"Regarding the current Qingyuan Mountain, we'll assign an elder to watch over it, but the clan members must leave. Otherwise, I fear something might happen."
After much communication, it was decided that everyone would move to Almo Mountain, and the issue of assigning a guardian to Qingyuan Mountain would be considered later.
After the family meeting, both the Breaking Clan and the Defense Clan quickly set things in motion. Everyone was extremely busy, preparing various items, resources, herbs, and even food for the move. It looked like they were packing for a huge migration.
As Yang Podi had predicted, many forces sent people to propose marriage alliances, joint ventures, and other requests, but all were politely declined.
Meanwhile, Yang Podi and his companions, along with his maternal grandfather, had already left for Almo Mountain to handle family plans and matters related to the construction of the new city and academy.
Just after Yang Podi left, Ning Fengzhi arrived with Sword Douluo, Ning Rongrong, and Ning Heng, clearly intending to discuss a marriage alliance.
However, they found no one to talk to, which left them disappointed. The negotiations for the self-created soul skills also came to nothing.
Sword Douluo, however, was quite enthusiastic and had a sparring match with Yang Wudi. It was a contest between the Seven Killing Sword and the Breaking Soul Spear.
Unfortunately, after Sword Douluo inherited the Seven Killing Sword, it never had a successor, while the Breaking Soul Spear continued to develop and produced many talented individuals. It was likely the Seven Killing Sword would eventually fade from history.
Seeing the Breaking Clan preparing to move, Ning Fengzhi couldn't help but shake his head.
As soon as Ning Fengzhi left, Tang Yuehua arrived with Titan and Bai He, seemingly to reminisce.
Yang Wudi, seeing their old friendship, met with them briefly.
Tang Yuehua spoke eloquently, apologizing for the past. According to her, the Clear Sky Sect would soon make a comeback and restore its position as the top sect in the world. They invited the Breaking Clan to return or, if unwilling, suggested an alliance to fight against the Spirit Hall together.
Hearing this, Yang Wudi nearly exploded in anger and immediately scolded Bai Heand Titan for lacking backbone and forgetting the enmity with the Clear Sky Sect. Finally, he expelled the three from the Breaking Clan
