Chapter 134: Secretly Releasing Information
🕑 Added 2024-12-25 17:59:42 +0000 UTCYang Podi returned to his room and carefully considered his next course of action.
He took out several sheets of ordinary paper and envelopes. These were common materials on the continent and could not be traced back to their source.
After some thought, he began writing letters, composing multiple letters at once and creating several copies of each. He used his left hand to write, making the handwriting unrecognizable to anyone.
The first letter was relatively simple, stating that Tang Hao, a remnant of the Clear Sky Clan, had been hiding in the Holy Spirit Village in the Fasinuo Province. He was being secretly cultivated by the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan's supposed "outcast," Yu Xiaogang, who was raising Tang Hao's son, Tang San, to overthrow Spirit Hall. Tang San was a twin martial soul wielder, possessing the Blue Silver Emperor and the Clear Sky Hammer. If allowed to develop, he could pose a significant threat to Spirit Hall, possibly even overturning it.
The second letter provided a detailed account of the Clear Sky Clan's current situation. Aside from its Clan Leader Tang Xiao, the clan had five titled Douluos, and including Tang Hao, there were a total of seven. The clan was quietly amassing power to confront Spirit Hall at any time. Additionally, the Moon Pavilion's Master, Tang Yuehua, in Heaven Dou City, was a member of the Clear Sky Clan and was helping to gather resources to nurture more talents for the clan.
The third letter elaborated on the recent recall of the Strength Clan and the Speed Clan, former vassals of the Clear Sky Clan, under Tang San's leadership. Tang San had reestablished them under the guise of forming the Tang Sect. The sect was merely a front for the Clear Sky Clan. Currently, the Tang Sect was producing weapons in large quantities, arming the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan. Once their armament was complete, the Clear Sky Clan would join forces with the other two sects to overthrow Spirit Hall.
The fourth letter discussed Tang Chen, the former Clan Leader of the Clear Sky Clan, who was reportedly undergoing a divine trial. Once completed, he was expected to emerge and seek revenge against Spirit Hall for past grievances, aiming to unite the world under his rule.
The fifth letter revealed that Yu Xiaogang was now leading the Heaven Dou Empire's Academy Team One. The team members included Tang San from the Clear Sky Clan, Ning Rongrong from the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan, Yu Tianheng from the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan, Bai Xiaofei from the Speed Clan, and Tai Long from the Strength Clan. The team's goal was to humiliate Spirit Hall's Golden Generation during the upcoming tournament.
After writing these letters, Yang Podi copied each one ten times.
As for the sender's name, he attributed all the letters to Spirit Hall Deacon Su Yuntao. Su Yuntao had once awakened Tang San's martial soul, the Blue Silver Grass, and discovered his innate full soul power. Although he had reported the matter, it had been ignored.
Su Yuntao, believing innate full soul power to be exceptionally rare, had continued to monitor Tang San and eventually uncovered these secrets.
Yang Podi did not act immediately. Instead, he waited over ten days. One evening, under the cover of darkness, he spread his wings and swiftly left the Breaking Clan. He scattered the letters at various Spirit Hall branches and sub-branches within a radius of several hundred miles around Heaven Dou City, ensuring random distribution of the contents.
With his current abilities and the extreme speed granted by his Tiger-Eagle Wings, Yang Podi moved undetected as he delivered the letters under the night sky. He had disguised himself thoroughly, wearing black clothes, a black hat, and even covering his Tiger-Eagle Wings with a layer of red firestone dust, turning them fiery red. He carried additional firestone pieces to enhance the disguise.
The delivery was simple. Yang Podi merely flew over a branch, tossed the letters, and left. He had no further concerns about the matter.
After returning to the clan, Yang Podi resumed training his group on the plum blossom stakes, leaving the situation outside to unfold as it would.
Over the next few days, chaos erupted outside. Most of Yang Podi's letters reached Bibi Dong, while some landed in Qian Renxue's hands, and even the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan received a couple—likely through a bribed branch leader.
In Spirit City's Pope's Palace, five letters were spread across Bibi Dong's desk, all originating from Yang Podi.
Initially, Bibi Dong seemed intent on suppressing the information. However, as the letters continued to pour in, eventually numbering over twenty, and given that they came from various branch leaders, it was impossible to silence everyone.
Moreover, Bibi Dong knew that Qian Renxue likely had all the letters too, making it futile to conceal the matter.
What shocked her most was the first letter: Yu Xiaogang, a supposed "outcast" of the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan, was secretly collaborating with the Clear Sky Clan to cultivate Tang Hao's son, aiming to overthrow Spirit Hall.
At that moment, the door to the Pope's Palace was knocked. Chrysanthemum Douluo and Ghost Douluo had returned to report.
Bibi Dong looked at the two and asked directly, "What's the result of your investigation? Is the information in the letters accurate?"
Chrysanthemum Douluo quickly replied, "Your Holiness, upon verification, it is true that the Holy Spirit Village produced a soul master with innate full soul power and a Blue Silver Grass martial soul. However, after Su Yuntao reported this, there was no further follow-up. The letters were not written by him, but the sender is familiar with both Su Yuntao and the Holy Spirit Village."
"Additionally, a new sect called the Tang Sect has indeed been established in Heaven Dou City, primarily comprising members of the Speed Clan and the Strength Clan. They specialize in producing hidden weapons, and their main client is the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan. The Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan has already purchased a large number of these weapons to arm their disciples.
"It's also confirmed that Team One of the Heaven Dou Imperial Academy is led by Yu Xiaogang, and its members include disciples from the three upper clans and the Speed and Strength Clans. Their stated goal is to claim victory in the upcoming Soul Master Tournament."
"Moreover, the hidden weapons produced by the Tang Sect are exceptionally powerful, capable of attacking at the Soul King level. All core disciples of the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan are now fully equipped, significantly boosting their strength."
"Your Holiness, the information in the letters is largely accurate."
Bibi Dong's expression darkened as she listened. She had thought Spirit Hall was steadily accumulating power, but the upper clans were secretly preparing to overthrow them.
Turning to Ghost Douluo, she asked, "What about the Clear Sky Clan? What did you find?"
Ghost Douluo, a speed-oriented soul master with exceptional concealment abilities, was ideal for investigating the Clear Sky Clan.
He promptly replied, "Your Holiness, I personally visited the Clear Sky Clan's ancestral grounds. They indeed have six titled Douluos. The Clan Leader, Tang Xiao, has reached rank 96. Their supplies and resources appear abundant, with no apparent shortages."
After pondering for a moment, Bibi Dong asked, "Who delivered these letters? Any leads?"
Chrysanthemum Douluo replied, "The letters were delivered under the cover of night, dropped into the sub-branches. Witnesses only saw a fiery shadow in the sky. The individual had fire-red wings and moved extremely fast, likely at the Soul Douluo level or higher."
"Investigate all fire-attribute Soul Douluo-level flying masters. Compile a list of possible suspects."
Suppressing her anger, Bibi Dong took the letters to the Hall of Elders. The revealed strength of the Clear Sky Clan was beyond her expectations, and only the elders could help address this.
At the entrance of the Hall of Elders, two guards stopped Bibi Dong. "Your Holiness, the Hall of Elders is not a place you can enter at will."
Ignoring them, she blasted them aside and walked in.
Inside, the Hall of Elders had a central figure surrounded by six others—its seven Worships, the pinnacle of Spirit Hall's strength.
Golden Crocodile Douluo, known for his fiery temper, was the first to speak. "Bibi Dong, why are you here instead of managing your Pope's Palace?"
Without responding, Bibi Dong waved her hand, sending the five letters to Qian Daoliu.
Qian Daoliu's expression shifted as he read them. The information was too shocking, especially the mention of Tang Chen. Familiar with Tang Chen's talent and power, Qian Daoliu found the claims plausible.
After a long silence, he asked, "Has the information been verified? What do you propose?"
Bibi Dong replied, "Most of it has been verified. Years ago, your leniency brought disaster to Spirit Hall. The enemy's strength exceeds our expectations."
"Tang Hao is a wanted criminal of Spirit Hall, a powerful adversary. I request the Hall of Elders to assist in his capture."
After some thought, Qian Daoliu agreed. "Very well. I will send the sixth and seventh Worships to Heaven Dou City."
Satisfied, Bibi Dong added, "Regarding the hunt for soul beasts, I also hope the Hall of Elders will assist in dealing with the Clear Sky Clan."
"We will participate."
Only then did Bibi Dong leave the Hall of Elders, her expression dark with malice.
Meanwhile, Qian Daoliu sighed. Spirit Hall and the Clear Sky Clan had clashed before, leading to irreparable enmity. Now, only a decisive strike could resolve the conflict.
At the same time, Qian Renxue, holding the same letters, looked furious. "Snake Lance, do we have any means to deal with Tang Hao?"
Snake Lance Douluo hesitated. "Young Master, Tang Hao is extremely powerful. Even the previous Pope couldn't defeat him. We need careful planning."
After some thought, Qian Renxue said, "Inform my grandfather to send reinforcements from the Hall of Elders. Tell him I want revenge for my father's death."
Snake Lance Douluo and Porcupine Douluo, despite their titles, felt uneasy. Both knew they were no match for Tang Hao.
At the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan, Ning Fengzhi, Sword Douluo, and Bone Douluo stared at two letters on the table, visibly troubled.
Ning Fengzhi sighed, "Sword Uncle, Bone Uncle, who could have leaked such information? This seems designed to provoke Spirit Hall against us."
The two letters suggested a conspiracy among the three upper clans to overthrow Spirit Hall. Though some details aligned with their activities, the overarching narrative was exaggerated.
Despite their misgivings, initial investigations confirmed parts of the letters' claims, leaving the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan unable to dismiss them outright.
Their ties to Tang San, Yu Xiaogang, and the Tang Sect now seemed perilous, painting a target on their backs.
