Yang Podi took out a map and pointed to the location of Almo Mountain: "Almo Mountain is the northernmost peak in the Heaven Dou Empire. It spans a vast area, and most importantly, it is very strategic."
In fact, Almo Mountain was a place Yang Podi had spent a lot of time considering. Almo Mountain is close to the extreme north, towering and rugged.
Almo Mountain acts as a natural barrier, separating the Heaven Dou Empire from the Extreme North Forest. The northern side is covered with snow year-round and is rarely visited, while the southern side has a more pleasant climate, almost like spring all year round. The foot of the mountain is rich in vegetation, making it ideal for growing medicinal herbs and plants.
Due to its distance from the Heaven Dou City, Almo Mountain is beyond the reach of most forces. This has resulted in the presence of several small sects on the mountain, with a considerable number of people.
At the summit, snow never melts, and if a sect were established on Almo Mountain, outsiders would likely never find it. It is similar to the ancestral land of the Haotian Clan, and even more hidden and inaccessible. As long as one ventures into the snow-covered mountains, enemies would be unable to track them. Moreover, the harsh environment is perfect for honing the physique of soul masters, and since Almo Mountain is so vast, even soul beasts are abundant.
The only problem might be the difficulty of transportation, but with soul tools, it is not an issue.
Originally, Yang Podi's plan did not exclude the Speed Clan, which would have handled the mountain's patrol and transportation. This would ensure everything went smoothly.
Now that the Speed Clan is not available, they will find another solution.
Yang Wudi seemed somewhat uneasy: "Although Almo Mountain is good, it is too far from the city. I'm afraid it's not suitable for our clan's development; after all, it's too remote."
"Grandfather, there's no need to worry. We can station a small group at the current base. Once the medicine is ready, we can send it to Heaven Dou City to be sold. It will just take a bit more time, but it will be safer."
Yang Podi's uncle, Niu Mang, still seemed concerned: "Although both our clans have two Title Douluos, being so far from Heaven Dou City, we lack the Empire's protection. Should we be worried about other forces attacking us?"
Everyone in the room looked at Niu Mang with speechless expressions. This man seemed to know very little about the information regarding the two clans. He actually thought that there were only two Title Douluos in their clans.
Niu Gao looked at his son with a speechless expression: "Son, you really don't work hard enough in your cultivation. Aside from you and Podi, everyone else in our clan is a Title Douluo, and don't forget about Uncle Wushuang!"
Niu Mang seemed shocked: "Jinfeng, Zhen Tian, when did you both break through to Title Douluo? And wasn't Uncle Wushuang already dead?"
Yang Jinfeng looked at her older brother: "Big Brother, I broke through to Title Douluo some time ago. And Uncle Wushuang didn't die, he just kept a low profile for the family's sake."
Niu Mang gulped: "Jinfeng, so our two clans now have five Title Douluos? When did all of this happen? How come I didn't know about it?"
Niu Gao looked at his son with a mixture of disappointment and frustration: "Why do you need to know all this? You should be focused on your cultivation. Right now, you're the only one who hasn't made progress."
After a round of communication, the direction for their recent development was basically decided, and Niu Gao even began to consider the design of Almo Mountain.
After leaving the secret room, Yang Podi took out a map of the entire Heaven Dou Empire, which included the Balak Kingdom and Fasnuo Province.
He glanced at the marked Saint Soul Village on the map, calculated a bit, and then changed into a set of black clothing before secretly leaving the Defense Clan.
Since Tang Hao dared to appear in Heaven Dou City and meet with Titan and White Crane, he likely wouldn't leave anytime soon. At least, he wouldn't leave so quickly. After all, both Tang San and Xiao Wu needed his protection.
Leaving the Defense Clan, Yang Podi reached a forest and called out: "Third Elder, can you come out?"
After calling three times, a shadow appeared from the forest—it was the Third Elder, Yang Wujue, who had been secretly protecting him.
Yang Podi saluted him: "Third Elder, thank you for your protection. I need to go on a trip, so please don't follow me for now."
The Third Elder was unmoved: "I was ordered by the Clan Head to protect you, and your safety is my top priority."
Yang Podi shook his head: "Third Elder, I'll be leaving now. I hope you can catch up with me."
After speaking, Yang Podi's back sprouted a pair of giant wings. After multiple soul power upgrades, each wing had grown to four meters in length. He flapped his wings and swiftly left the forest, flying west.
With the Tiger Eagle Wings' speed, he could fly incredibly fast. In terms of speed alone, it might even rival a Soul Douluo, and a Soul Douluo of the flying type at that.
The Saint Soul Village was about 4,000 kilometers away from Heaven Dou City, and the Tiger Eagle Wings could cover almost 1,000 kilometers per hour.
During his flight, Yang Podi kept his altitude high to avoid detection by the cities and stayed unnoticed by anyone on the ground.
After about four hours, Yang Podi arrived near Notting City. Referring to the map, he found several waterfalls within a hundred-mile radius and finally arrived at his destination.
When Yang Podi arrived at one of the waterfalls, he noticed that it was different from the others, with particularly lush Blue Silver Grass growing around it.
After dressing himself entirely in black—black clothes, black pants, black robe, and even covering his face—he placed two pieces of hot red firestones at his waist. Once everything was ready, he flapped his wings and flew into the waterfall.
Upon examining the area behind the waterfall, Yang Podi discovered an unusually dense life force near a specific spot. The Blue Silver Grass there grew even more vibrantly than in other places.
After carefully inspecting the stone wall, he found a hidden door. Since his mother was a direct descendant of the Yu Clan, her construction techniques were excellent, and Yang Podi had grown up surrounded by such expertise. Opening the hidden door was no challenge for him.
Inside the hidden door, the ground was covered with a special kind of Blue Silver Grass. This particular Blue Silver Grass had a much stronger life force than the usual kind, and the edges of its leaves even had a subtle golden hue, making it quite remarkable.
Yang Podi didn't retract his wings but instead continued searching through the cave. Eventually, he found a small hidden cavity in the stone wall. Upon opening it, he took out a black lead box about two feet long.
Yang Podi gripped the box, which was surprisingly heavy, weighing around 200 pounds. After opening the box, a brilliant blue light emitted from it, illuminating the entire cave. The lead box contained a powerful life force, like being submerged in an ocean of life.
Yang Podi trembled slightly as he held the object inside the box. It was a glowing blue bone, exuding a potent life energy. It looked purer and more beautiful than any sapphire he had ever seen.
Yang Podi muttered softly, his voice rough: "I can't believe that after tracking Tang Hao for over ten years, I finally found it. This is the Hundred-Thousand-Year Blue Silver Emperor's right leg bone. If I present it to the Pope, it will surely be a great achievement. Even becoming a Platinum Bishop should be possible."
After a moment of excitement, Yang Podi held the priceless soul bone in both hands and flapped his wings, quickly leaving the cave.
Throughout the process, he didn't notice anything unusual about the Blue Silver Grass in the cave, acting as though it were perfectly normal.
After leaving the cave, Yang Podi quickly flew away.
Once he was about 200 kilometers away in a forest, he immediately stored the Blue Silver Emperor's right leg bone in a soul tool on his body. Then, he changed his clothes and stowed the two firestones away.
After completing these tasks, his appearance and aura changed dramatically. He then flapped his wings and quickly left the area.
This location was carefully chosen by Yang Podi, as it was only about ten kilometers away from a branch of the Spirit Hall. With all the precautions he had taken, he was confident he could mislead Tang Hao.
By the time Yang Podi returned to the Defense Clan, it was already late at night. To his surprise, Yang Wudi was waiting for him.
"Grandfather, why are you still up so late?" Yang Podi asked.
Yang Wudi looked at him with deep meaning: "Podi, you deliberately shook off the Third Elder. What exactly are you planning to do?"
"Grandfather, whatever I do is for the good of the Defense Clan, for its future development."
Yang Wudi sighed: "No matter what you do in the future, you must prioritize your own safety. You're the only grandson I have, and I don't want you to face any danger. Let the old ones handle the family matters."
Yang Podi looked at his grandfather's somewhat weathered face and felt moved: "Grandfather, don't worry. I won't take risks again."
After chatting for a while, Yang Wudi left the room. Yang Podi stared at his grandfather's back, clenching his fist tightly: "Grandfather, don't worry. Anyone who has wronged us, whether it's the Clear Sky Clan or the Spirit Hall, I will make them pay."
Meanwhile, at the Speed Clan's base, Tang San took out several schematics for hidden weapons. Titan, one of the three great craftsmen, immediately recognized their power and value. Especially with the agreement made with the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect for a large deal, the future sales were certain to be great.
White Crane couldn't help but laugh. The Speed Clan had always been somewhat weak in terms of offensive power, but now with the hidden weapons, they could easily make up for that deficiency.
After some discussion, they decided to establish the Tang Clan outside Heaven Dou City, with the Power Clan and Speed Clan joining under it. Titan and White Crane would serve as elders.
In their minds, the future of the Tang Clan looked very promising, and with Tang San's innate full soul power and twin martial souls, the Tang Clan would likely rise to even greater prominence, potentially surpassing the Clear Sky Clan.
However, everyone was surprised and even repelled by the attitudes of the Defense Clan and the Spirit Clan. It was shocking to them that decades of brotherhood could result in such rejection.
Tang Hao looked at his son and smiled with satisfaction, but it seemed that everyone had forgotten that Tang San was only a Soul Elder, a mere thirteen-year-old boy. This world was never short of geniuses; it lacked the supreme experts who could rise after going through the trials of life.
And Yang Podi himself still didn't quite understand. In any world, the Tang Clan was known for being an assassination sect, despised and shunned by other forces. But this sect, whose core techniques were Daoist practices, seemed to contradict logic.
Even more strangely, the Tang Clan, known for its hidden weapons and techniques, would later become the most powerful sect in the world, surpassing even the Clear Sky Clan. It felt somewhat illogical, as if the order of things had been turned upside down.
After all, this was a fantasy world where martial souls and soul power were fundamental. The so-called hidden weapons of the Tang Clan only reached the power of Soul King level at best. They were effective only through surprise attacks, so Yang Podi couldn't help but feel that this world was a bit abnormal.
