Chapter 189: Romantic Storm
🕑 Added 2024-12-18 17:38:28 +0000 UTCIbiza Island is a place full of sensuality and bohemian style, filled with clubs, topless beaches, and scenes of hedonism. It seamlessly combines nature and luxury, known for its wild nightlife and parties. At the same time, it is also a magical place for relaxation and recharging.
"Ibiza can offer you everything you want," said Victoria, standing in the living room of the seaside villa.
Having just dragged two large suitcases inside, Duke replied, "Including a romantic private holiday."
"This is Johnny Depp's villa," he added, pulling the suitcases into Victoria's room. "I originally tried to book a presidential suite at a hotel, but everything was full, so I had to borrow this villa."
"Are you satisfied?" he asked, turning to look at Victoria, who followed him inside.
"I've only lived a modest life in Paris," Victoria replied, walking over to take the suitcase from Duke's hand and placing it in an empty corner. "We're not the luxurious British royal family..."
She opened one of the suitcases and glanced at Duke. "Can you leave me some privacy? I need to change."
"I'll wait outside," Duke said, stepping out of the villa.
Standing on the steps, he looked out at the beach in the distance. Although it wasn't a nudist beach, it was famous for being a topless one. Men and women wandered across the sand, most wearing only swimsuits.
"What are you looking at?" Victoria's voice came from behind him. "Are there pretty girls over there?"
Turning around, Duke looked at the princess as she walked over. "The prettiest girl is right here next to me. Why would I look elsewhere?"
"My dear," he said with a perfectly timed compliment, "you look stunning!"
The princess, who was about to turn eighteen, was dressed in tight denim shorts and a plaid sleeveless crop top, exuding youthful vitality. Like most Nordic women, she had extraordinarily long legs. Though not as perfectly straight as a model's, they carried a natural beauty. Her fair skin glowed with a faint blush under the sunlight.
"Let's take a walk on the beach," Duke suggested, holding out his hand.
Victoria naturally placed her hand in his, and he led her toward the beach ahead.
"Are we going into the water?" she asked, looking at the sea with anticipation.
"You're not wearing a swimsuit," Duke pointed out.
"Just like you," Victoria replied, gesturing at the swimsuit faintly visible under her shirt. "It's hidden underneath."
They entered the beach and found a less crowded spot. Duke rented two lounge chairs and bought a few cans of cold beer. Tossing one to Victoria, he sat on a chair and removed his shirt, revealing his toned upper body.
"I haven't swum in the sea for a long time," Victoria said, placing her beer aside. She removed her shirt and shorts, revealing a light blue swimsuit underneath. Looking at the topless women around her, she hesitated briefly but ultimately decided against removing her bikini top.
The sun gradually moved west, nearing the horizon. Duke grabbed Victoria's hand, and they ran toward the water, plunging straight into the sea. Victoria broke free from his hand and swam vigorously ahead.
"Duke, you're too slow!" she shouted, turning back to look at him.
"Are you challenging me?" Duke called back.
"I've had military training and am still ahead of you," Victoria said, flipping her wet hair. "You don't stand a chance."
"We'll see about that," Duke replied, increasing his speed.
Victoria's natural youthful energy made her surprisingly fast. She had previously mentioned that as the Swedish king holds the country's highest military rank, heirs to the throne must undergo basic military training.
However, she was still a young woman. After swimming about fifty feet, Duke caught up with her.
"Let's head over there," Duke suggested, pointing toward a white boulder about fifty feet ahead, a well-known spot on the beach for watching the sunset.
Once on the rock, Duke turned to pull Victoria up. Hand in hand, they avoided the nearby couples and found a smooth, west-facing area where they sat close together.
"Victoria, it looks like you lost to me just now," Duke teased, looking at her like he was ready to collect a debt.
Victoria blinked but avoided responding. Instead, she pointed to the western sky and said, "What a beautiful sunset."
In the distance, the sky blended red and yellow, eventually merging with the blue water, creating a stunning palette over the ocean. The light slowly climbed onto the white boulders and illuminated Duke and Victoria, casting layers of radiance on their fair skin.
Seemingly enchanted by the scene, Victoria raised her arms, palms upward, and slowly closed her eyes as if trying to cradle the beauty in her hands.
Duke turned his gaze to her. With no makeup on her face, she wasn't as striking as a heavily adorned Hollywood starlet, yet she radiated a natural, refreshing beauty that no amount of makeup could replicate.
Perhaps it was the romantic atmosphere of the scene, or maybe it was the influence of the couples kissing around them, but Duke felt an unusual stirring in his heart for the girl beside him.
"I have to kiss you now," he whispered into Victoria's ear.
Victoria opened her eyes and looked into his dark ones. "Oh?"
"You're in the middle of a romantic storm," Duke said, his fingers brushing lightly over her lips, still carrying a hint of the ocean's saltiness. "You can't escape a kiss."
Looking at him intently, Victoria closed her eyes again and raised her face. A moment later, she felt his fingers graze her lips, followed by the warmth of a kiss that replaced the salty bitterness with sweetness. She parted her lips slightly, responding to his deepening kiss.
Though inexperienced, Victoria quickly yielded to Duke's lead. As the kiss deepened, his hands settled on her waist, one moving downward, the other upward to rest on her softest places.
Victoria placed her hands on his, stopping him but not pushing them away. Duke understood the importance of patience and chose to proceed gradually.
The kiss lasted several minutes. When they finally parted, Victoria gasped for breath, her flushed face close to his. "Don't you think we're moving too fast?" she asked, her tone slightly firm.
"Is that so?" Duke raised an eyebrow.
Perhaps due to her upbringing and royal background, Victoria was slightly conservative—at least by the standards of Nordic society, known for its openness.
"I'm certain," she said firmly.
Hearing her words, Duke lifted her chin with his hand and kissed her again. Victoria closed her eyes once more, losing herself in the sweetness of the moment.
This island was made for revelry, especially after nightfall.
Ibiza, located 50 miles off the Spanish mainland, has long been a favorite destination for the wealthy. Every summer, its beaches are frequented by celebrities and elites.
You might pass rock stars like Mick Jagger or Paul David surrounded by women or see European royals flaunting their bodies—or lack thereof. Among them, you might even spot Arabian princes enjoying both alcohol and women.
In this crowd, neither Duke nor Victoria stood out. People like them were too common here.
As night deepened and the hour approached midnight, the beach's party atmosphere reached its peak. The scene resembled an oversized version of Studio 54, with raves and bohemian nightlife just beginning.
Amid the deafening music, Duke and Victoria, like everyone else, danced with abandon. Steps and rhythm didn't matter; letting loose and having fun were the only priorities.
Though a few women seemed interested in Duke's tall, muscular frame, he kept his attention solely on Victoria. As they danced closer and closer, their earlier kiss seemed to have broken down the last barrier between them. Victoria no longer shied away from Duke's advances, even leaning into him.
Their bodies eventually pressed together as their chaotic movements evolved into a close dance. They held each other tightly, feeling the warmth radiating between them.
"Victoria?"
When the music softened slightly, Duke leaned into her ear and said, "Shall we head back to the villa?"
Victoria knew exactly what that suggestion entailed. Though Duke was undoubtedly talented and attractive in many ways, she wasn't ready to let him get his way so soon.
"There's a competition coming up," she said, pecking him lightly on the lips. "I want to participate."
"Alright," Duke replied, smiling knowingly. "I'll keep you company."
On the central stage, the heavy metal music faded. A DJ stepped up and spoke into the microphone. The crowd erupted in cheers, clearly anticipating what was to come.
"What did he say?" Duke asked, not understanding Spanish.
"The competition is about to start!" Victoria exclaimed excitedly, her voice rising with the crowd. "It's a freestyle rap battle!
