"Son, tell me your plan."
"Dad, you should know the value of these immortal herbs. Since we found them, they belong to us, to our family, not to the entire Breaking Clan."
"What do you plan to do then?"
"I intend to keep all the immortal herbs. This Aromatic Silk Beauty Immortal Herb, will be the clan's treasure. We shouldn't tell anyone about what we have, including both grandfathers."
"Then we will select a herb each for both grandfathers, you, and Mom to use first while keeping the rest for safekeeping."
"Later, after we use the herbs, we'll sort everything out in the Ice and Fire Yin-Yang well. Let Mom come here personally to handle this entrance and create a secret door. No one should know about it except for our family of five. If possible, it would be best to set up a mechanism to prevent outsiders from entering."
After hearing this, Yang Zhen Tian fell silent for a long time. "Son, you've grown up. Your approach is very good, but is it a bit inappropriate not to tell your grandfathers the specific details?"
"Dad, both grandfathers have very good relationships with many people, even to the point of being like brothers. I'm afraid they might let it slip or be unable to resist sharing the herbs with others."
"Are you worried about the other three families of the Single Attribute Four Families?"
"Dad, you know well that since the battle with Clear Sky Sect, even though we, the Single Attribute Four Families, have left Clear Sky Sect, each family's attitude is different."
"Our Breaking Clan deeply hates Clear Sky Sect and Tang Hao, so we'll completely sever ties in the future. But the other three families are not like this. Grandpa Bai He from the Speed Clan is Tang Hao and Tang Xiao's maternal uncle, so they can't cut ties with Clear Sky Sect. Titan, the patriarch of the Strength Clan, has always regarded Tang Hao as a benefactor, making it difficult for him to sever ties. As for my maternal grandfather, I'm not sure what his stance is."
"If they find out we have immortal herbs, the consequences could be severe. Especially if Clear Sky Sect finds out, our Breaking Clan wouldn't be able to protect itself."
"As for the clan members, there are too many mouths. The significance of the herbs is too great; any slight leak could lead to the destruction of our Breaking Clan."
Of course, Yang Po Di didn't mention that even though the Breaking Clan is a family, conflicts can easily arise within. The immortal herbs should be kept among the direct line of the family. Just look at the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan, where factions are rampant, and even the clan leader's son, Yu Xiaogang, was forced out of the family.
After considering these points, Yang Zhen Tian thought for a long time before sighing, "Son, you've thought this through. This is indeed the best choice for the clan."
"However, what immortal herbs do you plan to give to me, your mother, and the two grandfathers?"
"Dad, you're already a Soul Sage. I think the Nine-Piece Dragon Grass would be perfect for you. Both grandfathers are already Soul Douluo; I suggest giving them the Ten-Thousand-Year Ginseng King so they have a chance to break through to Title Douluo."
"Mom's martial soul is the Armored Giant Rhinoceros, so I think the Earth Dragon Golden Melon would be suitable."
"As for the clan elders, I suggest using the Nine-Piece Purple Grass to refine pills. They should be able to break through to Soul Douluo quickly, and some may even reach Title Douluo."
"What do you think of this distribution?"
"Son, I have to say that your knowledge of alchemy over the past two years hasn't gone to waste. This distribution is indeed good. But what are you planning to do with so many immortal herbs?"
"I want to keep the herbs as family heirlooms, and also prepare a portion for Ping An and Tian Yue in advance."
"What about you? What immortal herb do you plan to use?"
"Dad, I need your help with that. The Nine-Leaf Sword Grass is surrounded by sword energy, and I can't get it on my own. I'll need you to help me get it. Also, I think the Wangchuan Autumn Water Dew will be beneficial for me, so I'll keep it for later absorption."
Hearing this, Yang Zhen Tian couldn't help but laugh and scold, "You kid really knows how to choose. The Nine-Leaf Sword Grass is indeed the most suitable for our family. But considering your age, are you sure you can use it?"
"Don't worry, my physical condition is still quite good."
"Son, you've considered everything thoroughly, but there's still a small issue."
Yang Po Di was a bit puzzled. Logically, his distribution and plan were quite good, so why would there be a problem?
Seeing the confusion on his son's face, Yang Zhen Tian said, "Son, you're only a great soul master, at level 22. These immortal herbs are too precious, and keeping them with you isn't safe enough. How about I keep them for you? Don't worry; they'll all be passed on to you in the future."
Hearing this, Yang Po Di's face darkened. How could his dad do this? He actually wanted to take all his things!
After some discussion, they decided to store all the immortal herbs separately.
Yang Po Di had no choice but to take out all the immortal herbs and first extract those intended for his family.
Suddenly, Yang Po Di spoke again, "Dad, I think we can still trust Mom's dad. Should we leave one for my maternal grandfather?"
Yang Zhen Tian looked at his son with a half-smile, "Oh, what do you want to leave for your maternal grandfather? And make sure it's something that won't easily be exposed."
"Dad, I think this Ten-Thousand-Year Earth Spirit Grass is pretty good. It's a top-grade earth attribute herb, and it's not considered an immortal herb. It's just a high-age herb that can still be found outside, so it won't be seen as a treasure. Giving it to my grandfather shouldn't raise suspicions."
"You little sly one! Alright, let's keep this for your maternal grandfather, but it's best if your mother gives it to him quietly."
"Okay, that's settled!"
Then, the father and son began selecting the immortal herbs, each taking turns.
"I'm younger, so let me choose first."
Hearing this, Yang Zhen Tian was amused, "Alright, son, I'll let you have this one."
Yang Po Di looked at all the jade boxes and first picked the Fragrant Qiluo herb.
Yang Zhen Tian immediately selected the Heartbreak Red.
Yang Po Di then picked the Mystic Heaven Chrysanthemum.
Yang Zhen Tian quickly chose the Eight-Petal Immortal Orchid.
Yang Po Di selected the Starry Ling Pearl.
Yang Zhen Tian picked the Cockscomb Phoenix Sunflower.
And so on…
The father and son continued to pick until all the immortal herbs were divided.
After the division, Yang Zhen Tian playfully asked, "Son, why didn't you pick the Eight-Cornered Ice Grass and the Fiery Apricot Charm? Is it because you don't have enough soul power to take them?"
Hearing this, Yang Po Di couldn't help but complain: Is he really looking down on me just because he has Soul Sage strength? I'm only eight years old!
"Dad, let's not pick those for now. I want to use them when I reach Soul Ancestor."
"You using them? That would be very dangerous."
"What's the point of being a soul master if there's no danger?"
"Alright, let's not pick those two for now. We'll discuss it again later, but it would be safer to use them when you reach Soul Ancestor or even Soul King."
"Dad, I'll think about it seriously."
Thus, the division of the herbs concluded, and the next step was for them to consume the immortal herbs.
