Chapter 45: Customer Service Representative
🕑 Added 2024-09-22 15:50:01 +0000 UTCEthan received a call from Drees, the editor of *T* magazine, at his top creative company's office. Despite the invitation from Drees and the chief editor, Ethan politely declined, stating that he had no interest in becoming a magazine photographer. He was already focused on advancing his own career.
For instance, the ten beautiful young women in front of him were dressed in light blue silk blouses and deep blue short skirts with black stockings. Their collars were unbuttoned down to the second button, revealing a glimpse of their fair skin.
"Hello, boss," the girls greeted Ethan in unison, bending at the waist and bowing, under Jimmy's direction. Their collective beauty was truly stunning.
"Excellent, Jimmy, you're really something!" Ethan couldn't help but give a thumbs-up to Jimmy, who was smiling widely.
"Alright, you can go back to work now!" Jimmy nodded, signaling the customer service representatives to return to their duties.
As the girls winks and sent flirtatious glances towards Ethan, they replied sweetly, "Yes, Manager."
After they returned to their positions, Ethan pulled Jimmy into the office. "Where did you find all these girls?"
Jimmy grinned, "Impressive, right? Do they meet your requirements?"
"Of course, they fit perfectly. I told you, Jimmy, you're a genius!" Ethan laughed, and both of them shared a moment of excitement before the atmosphere calmed down.
"I recruited them from the film set. I told them we were starting an advertising company and needed actresses urgently," Jimmy explained as he sat on the desk.
"Actresses?" Ethan squinted. "There must be more to it."
"Absolutely. I showed them the MV you directed and said you were a renowned director branching out on your own. Since your work is at the top of the billboard charts right now, they were immediately convinced. I mentioned that we plan to cultivate our own actresses, starting with customer service roles."
"Because our company handles top brands, we need outstanding image and pleasing voices. Moreover, if we need to shoot an MV or an advertisement, we'll prioritize choosing from our customer service team!"
Ethan clapped, "Excellent, Jimmy, you did a fantastic job!"
In fact, this was a win-win situation. Not only did they find high-quality customer service representatives, but they also gained a reserve of actresses. More importantly, Ethan was inspired by Jimmy's approach and came up with a clever plan.
"Jimmy, you've sparked an idea. Let's implement this: we'll feature our customer service representatives in our advertisements. Like beauty pageants, the most dedicated worker each period can get screen time. Those who perform well might even get signed by us! Since we're familiar with CAA, we can arrange various shoots, music videos, and acting roles to promote them. They will become the face of Supreme Creative!"
This plan was akin to Victoria's Secret signing models—both a publicity stunt and a way to promote their products.
Even though Supreme Creative didn't have products to sell yet, developing a few attractive actresses could bring in substantial revenue.
This model could be seen as a variant of Tokyo's idol training companies, or Hooters' owl girls, or even a prototype for future MCN companies.
As long as the girls performed well, they would have better opportunities in modeling, singing, or acting. Even if they didn't become actresses, being influencers would still make them money.
However, this required Ethan and the company to have ample resources and connections, which was exactly Ethan's goal.
"Wow! That sounds fantastic! Ethan, if we do this, won't we become a talent agency?" Jimmy was also excited.
"Exactly. Why limit ourselves to advertisements? We'll develop across multiple areas. A media group, you know?"
"Amazing!" Jimmy was even more excited, grabbing a bottle of red wine from his newly bought wine cabinet and pouring a glass for Ethan.
Ethan clinked his glass with Jimmy's and drank it all in one go.
"So, what's next?" Jimmy asked.
"Next..." Ethan tapped the table, "Let's start our promotional strategy. In a few days, we'll choose an outstanding girl from this group. I want her to appear on screen!"
"Got it! Leave it to me!" Jimmy loosened his suit collar and whistled.
Ethan looked at Jimmy's confident demeanor, noting how different he was from the yellow-haired guy in a jacket from a few months ago. Even though he didn't hold many shares, Jimmy had clearly entered a new state of mind since the company's establishment.
But Ethan still needed to remind his good friend.
"Jimmy."
"Hmm? What's up?"
Jimmy turned around, meeting Ethan's gaze. Ethan remained silent, just looking at him.
They held eye contact until Jimmy slightly bent forward, a bit sweaty, and awkwardly asked, "Why aren't you speaking, Ethan?"
Ethan finally smiled and said, "Nothing, just that the selection of customer service representatives and future advertisement models must be fair... it's the company's foundation."
"Don't worry, Ethan. I won't mess it up!" Jimmy sighed with relief, feeling his heart lighten. For some reason, staring at Ethan felt more intimidating than facing his parents.
"Good. Also, absolutely no dating within the company!" Ethan stood up, stating the company's rule, "If any two employees start a relationship, one must leave the company. Jimmy, I'm sure you don't want to see the company ruined for personal reasons, right?"
"Of course not!" Jimmy nodded decisively.
"Alright, brother, I'll rely on you for the next steps." Ethan hugged Jimmy and left the office.
Outside the office, the customer service representatives, who had been whispering among themselves, fell silent as soon as the boss emerged.
Ethan approached them, waiting for their attention, and said, "Ladies, our first advertisement is about to start filming. Are you interested?"
"Definitely!" The girls looked at Ethan with eager eyes.
"This advertisement will cost $800,000 and will be promoted in New York! Are you excited?"
"Excited!" The girls couldn't hide their enthusiasm, adjusting their clothes to reveal more skin.
Ethan smiled, paused, and said, "I need one actress for this advertisement, the only one who will appear. I have three requirements."
The girls widened their eyes, eager to hear more.
Ethan glanced around and slowly said, "First, be obedient!"
"Second, be obedient!"
"And third, still be obedient!"
