Carlos is technically a they/them type of situation. Not in the wokeboi way, but in the literal physical sense. As you can see w/ Ophelia, sex-type magic is a thing, it's more reliant on biological inherent traits than normal more common magic is, as the name itself is pretty self explanatory as to how it works, as it's based on sexual organs etc (in Ophelia's case, she passively emits pheromones, and she specializes in sex magic that uses her womb to produce chimeras (we heard last episode from Oliver that she did a thesis on accelerating the breeding speed of monsters by hybridizing Scylla & Kraken variants into 1 type, so I assume she got some sperm samples from Scylla & Kraken, and mixed the batch inside her womb? Truly an organic way of doing incubation processes, huh?), Succubus is truly one of the most accurate nicknames fr). In Carlos' case, being 100% androgynous is their thing
