One Piece Episode 23 & 24 Reaction (One Pace: Baratie Episode 3)

Episodes 23-30 should finish it off and we will be back to One Pace for Arlong Park. Mihawk's arrival was hype to see once again, and I hope we learn more about him in the future. This is when Zoro became one of my favorites, iirc. Love it. What did you think of this episode. Enjoy!~

That's a neat touch. To have it be from Zoro's POV rather than an objective fact. I like that. I can't wait to see where Zoro goes. He only grew on me more from what I remember.

I just noticed. Mihawk calls Zoro "weak one" the whole time he is wielding his pocket knife. Once Zoro tells him he'd rather die that take a step back, he puts that away, and immediately calls him "strong one". That's so sick.

So when Zoro said "He's the world's strongest man." I was suspicious of that too, cause objectively, there's no way that's true. I listened properly to what Zoro says, and he does say : "Sekai saikyō no otoko" which the subtitles correctly translated. I can only imagine it's because of Zoro's perception. To him, being the world's best swordsman IS being the strongest. Interesting. Also, i do agree that this part specifically made Zoro my favorite character, and i love Mihawk's design and character. I'm sure Zoro knew he couldn't win when he challenged him. But he still had to, if he wanted to stay true to himself and his promise.
