Seems like a prologue to me, tbh. I don't mind it. It needs to set up these relationships, characters, and world.

There's only about three or four recap episodes at best and actually the story picks up depending on your taste much earlier then around those episodes but it all comes down to your independent taste

If I remember right its around episode 40-50 that they stop recapping the previous episodes at the beginning of the episodes. I forgot that they were really bad about using lke 3-4 mins worth of recap towards the start of the anime.

You can think of the entire beginning of the story as a saga cuz that's what a technically is all of the many arcs are going to watch or all a part of one storyline including the beginning of the series
