Violet Evergarden Episode 2 Reaction

Ah, that makes sense. Ty!

Gilbert is from the Bougainvillea family, and the Evergardens are relatives of his that he trusted to take care of Violet. As for Hodgins not getting paid, he used his paycheck to buy back Violet's brooch from the black market.

Ah, that's right. They mentioned a lot of people are illiterate during that time and it makes sense. Yeah, the experiences for Erica will hone her craft. Good point.
Erica wants to continue being a doll because she wants to know more stories of ppl, learn ppls feelings in every situations so she could eventually create memorable characters and write good novels, not just generic things. For why ppl ask dolls to write instead of themselves, I assume not everyone knows how to write back then. And some ppl are rather bad at wording let along have their intentions come across nicely in serious or sensitive situations:) Glad you are continuing it and welcome to the tears club!
