Episode 3 puts that on the table.. kind of. Curious how this will go down in Episode 4.
Anriku
I wonder what time this show airs.
Anriku
Well yeah, but I have a feeling she will learn that not all humans have malice in their heart against nature. In fact, I think she will realize humans aren't taking it into consideration... like a a lot of people in our world don't.
Anriku
Same. I am digging it so far. It's been enjoyable.
Anriku
So shocking!

LMAO! GET OUT!

Hey, Hawthorn, need a... /hand/ with the clean-up? ...I'll show myself out with that horrible joke given the circumstances.
AlduicS
"Nice Guy" Hawthorn's nature of sticking his nose into troublesome situations that might come back to bite him, seriously saved his life but just like him, that was so unexpected and heartbreaking for this dude to suddenly lose EVERYTHING... his home, his job, his friends & subordinates, his sense of security... I doubt Sally, in her (likely) half-awakened & untrained state could tank that cannon blast, it might even deal some damage to Mikoto... praise to the studio for making that last scene so shocking too!

Lots of mysteries are piling up, that's for sure, but after these two episodes of shock, brutality, action, and sweetness.. I am sticking around to the end of its air time, I might even read the manga after it concludes!

I don't condone murder, but damn it, the female ogre's logic about humans being the natural enemy of the world itself, gouging nature & ruining the lives of other species only resonates more and more as time goes on, we can see the effects of our involvement with nature (in both negative & positive aspects) as our civilization advances... she's sorta getting more justified tbh

Asahi Production, the animation studio behind Peach Boy Riverside, must be praised because, if nothing else, there's been a significant lack of censorship/avoidance of the brutality & bloodshed thus far, which means they must have struck a good deal with TV broadcast networks without triggering the censorship laws of Japan!!!
Anriku
It was some Cell Vegeta type shit but to the max. Lmao
AlduicS
It was quite obvious that Mikoto wasn't all right in the head, to a certain degree, thanks to events from his past we've yet to learn about (presumably), but holy fuck, his battlejunkie nature & stabbing himself in the foot to show he won't dodge the cannon is a unbelievably badass, as well as the ultimate flex of "you can't beat me" I've seen in awhile... Lol

Okay, yeah, this series will be something special entirely, cause if two "Peach Boy" Powerbearers don expressions of absolute, demented euphoria when confronting ogres/oni, and seemingly enjoy inflicting pain upon them in brutal fashions... I am 100% here for the ride, it just adds a whole element of craziness to the clashes between both groups!
