I am intrigued by episode 1 and will be watching episode 2 sometime next week. I want to see where Violet goes from here now that she is no longer a soldier.

Uuf I just watched this from other reactor. This show is so hard on emotions...sad as hell. Be prepared to cry...I will try slowly follow your reaction to this. This maybe the most prettiest anime ever made animation, colors and just overall looks is top notch.

One of my favorite series. Hope you like it
lol. Why? drama/ tearjerker is a form of iyashikei as long as it made you appreciate life and feel a sense of warmth afterward despite a sad tone. Maybe because slice of life is categorized as nichijou series when it’s more light hearted like daily lives of high school boys. The definition is bit different when it comes to translation.

I never heard that term before. I had to look it up. "Healing" type anime. Interesting. I see Made in Abyss was listed as one... Idk how that has a healing effect on people. LMAO!
