This true. I forget a lot about the show since it was 4 years ago and it was already a bit confusing with all the info. Maybe the witch factors have something to do with it.

Doesn’t seem like anyone else has said it yet so I figured I’d bring it up. You mention a couple of time the theory that Emilia might be satella, which is possible but batelgeuse does tells Subaru near the end of season 1 that the whole point of what the witches cult was doing at the end of season was testing Emilia to see if she could be a suitable vessel to put the witch into.

Maybe she isnt. Could just be another dimension. She was devoured so maybe she exists still somewhere? Crazy stuff.

In episode 8 of re zero season 1 we get a bit of exposition about the witches from Beatrice: "Long ago the jealous witch Satella devoured the 6 witches that bore the names of the deadly sins and drained half the world dry...." so the witches are supposed to be dead so i wonder how the witch of greed is sill alive ?

They talked about the gate in season 1, dont feel bad about not remembering, it was like in episode 6 or 7. It's basically how non spirit arts user access magic

Ty. Its been so damn long. I'm waiting for something other than a witch/archbishop connected to a sin. Can't wait to see more of the Witch of Greed.

They mentioned it in season one, she is the Witch of Envy and called The Jealous Witch.
