Medieval Ambitions!
🕑 Added 2023-02-19 21:20:13 +0000 UTCGreetings, hope you guys have grown in body, mind and spirit!
With all commissions behind the back, I have one more undertaking before continuing my personal projects; a medieval bundle that will not only benefit the commissioner, but also grace your own world with unique appeal. This is however, not a singular build, but a collection of builds that will be compiled and grafted into a custom world purposed for adventure by the requester. Since the landscaping is not appointed to me, I'll nevertheless try to give you (my Patrons) a geographical basis that implies survival and personal adventure via my current "show and tell" expression. For now, all builds will be within a perimeter I've set for myself, instead of dotting all builds on the screen as time progress, emphasizing change in style and function.
Let's look at a couple of specific pointers as to how this project will be accomplished, and, being afforded the blessing from above, create my own world therefrom.
- Building style:
Instead of making everything too linear in terms of its Medieval basis, I've decided upon a blend of styles that might (risky) imply an imperial, renaissance, revival, classical, and ancient narrative. Some might be included, others scrapped.
- Time and effort:
I prefer an experienced life instead of an LED overdose, maintaining a healthy balanced life that will afford clarity of thought and creativity. This simply means that this project will, considering the detail and number of builds involved, take some time to complete. So I've decided upon-
- Posting builds:
Each complete build will be posted on my Planet Minecraft and Patreon profile as a downloadable file for my current Patrons, and for those who take interest in becoming one. This will allow you to get a feel for what is progressively expected, whilst allowing you to use the builds for your own personal ventures.
- Interiors:
I'm still deciding upon how I should approach the interiors of this project.
1) Each progressive build with a complete interior = Slower posts between individual builds.
2) Interiors only starts when all shells are complete = A complete exterior with no interior for each individual build for the time being. Can you make use of it?
3) Complete every single build with interior and exterior = Can take a very long time, and might upset Patrons for the lack of content produced within a timeframe.
Perhaps a pole with the exclusion of the third option (lest patience and commitment perpetuates a supporting consistency) should be brought to the table.
- Resource Pack:
MassiveCraft, essentially an RP that matches or rivals Conquest Reforged will be used on the commissioner's world, so it makes logical sense to use the pack as my textural standard (NO MODS) to see what is expected visually.
- Support and gratitude:
I'm not a super-rich young guy, but I've held my ground through what can be considered shitty upheavals and prosperous times. I don't scam people, overcharge, stamp my builds on your face, or demand thousands of dollars for something you can create yourself. But if you find what I do useful, consider becoming a Patron, and help me feed a couple of people with each and every payout available. With patience and commitment, I'll eventually make enough money to focus on myself and system upgrades. For now, I'm stuck with...well...shit hardware.
Those who have already joined, or considering doing so; you are noticed and appreciated beyond measure. Thank you for choosing me among builders who are far more experienced. I am truly humbled and blessed to have you on my side. :]
