Ku Nilsen
The green pill was nothing, just Gintoki showing "proof" to his customers that he poisoned the pup
Ku Nilsen
The reason Gin did not eat the egg and rice was because he made sure Sadaharu got his fill, being a huge puppy and all. Gin just tries to be discreet when sacrificing himself for others, acting like the egg and rice are below him(we all know it isn't lol). Right afterSadaharu remembers this, we see him give the little puppy the biggest part of the fish:)
