A controller is merely the device with which a human interfaces with the computer. People have been using many different controllers since the advent of the Computer Age, starting with the mouse and keyboard for user input, to the arcade cabinet buttons and joystick, to console controllers, to even the specialized devices needed for Guitar Hero or Steel Battalion. People have even used the Guitar Hero axe to beat a game that it was never designed for, like Fallout: New Vegas. The Assassin only needs an electrical connection for the interface, assuming he's not allowed to use his hands. Trust me, a real gamer can always find a way.
