Hereโs a throwback for you! Thought it would be fun to upload some progression pics of my work on Enemies & Lovers. These are the different stages (besides thumbnail options) that I would send to Holly for approval: Ink, flats, and final render.
Youโre going to notice its a VERY โtrust the processโ kind of situation with these. Often times I was working so fast that most of the refining would happen at the final rendering stage; so inks and flats were a bit more wonkyโฆ Hope you enjoy, and do let me know if youโd like to see more of these for the rest of the cards!

Yes, Iโll use a warm brown or red and set the layer to multiply. After that, Iโll use the lighten blend mode to lighten areas as needed. ๐ซก

Hi! Can I ask if you use the multiply mode for lineart? Or do you change the color in certain areas while you're drawing?
