TLDR: Maxis is patching the game today, it’s somewhat unclear what’s in this patch or how damaging it will be. So If you want to play with your mods during this time, it might be worth disabling updates.
The Sims 4 patch 1.116.202 is landing today, shortly, this is ahead of the fairy expansion releasing July 10th. The latter’s pre-patch will definitely require lots of patching but it’s unclear how damaging todays patch will be. Is this a pre-pre-patch for the Expansion pack? [Note: it was!] I’m not sure. But we’ll find out together.
Like always, your favorite Modders will be working to pick apart the many changes the pre-patch and later the expansion will bring to the game. While it can be difficult to predict how long your favorite mods will be out of commission, it typically takes us (TURBO, Basemental, and me) few hours to about 2 days to release a patch. I’ll be in discord while patching tomorrow for those who want a more up to the moment prediction for how the patch is going, but for those who don’t use discord, I’ll be silently updating this post here as the process progresses, to keep you informed with how the patch is coming.
Again, If you plan to play your modded sims 4 while we are working on the patch, then I highly recommend you disable updates. You can do this by opening the EA app, looking for the 3 horizontal bars in the upper left corner -> Settings -> hit the download tab just below settings (It’s not immediately obvious it’s a tab) then click off update games automatically, I’d probably disable ‘Enable Background Downloads’ just to be safe too. Then hit the 3 horizontal bars again and hit ‘go offline.’ This should prevent the sims 4 from auto-updating while your Mod Authors work on patches for you. If you want to be extra tinfoil, so shiny and chrome, you can disconnect your computer from the internet too, but that’s probably a bit cray cray, but we love things a bit crazy here don’t we?

Sims 4 Enchanted by Nature Expansion Pack [Patched!]
WP is safe for the Expansion pack, however it's unclear if fairy sims in their occult fairy forms will be able to have sexy times. If you try now, you'll notice your fairies bodies will deform, and strapons/tongues might be in surprising places. I'm not sure how TURBO will try to tackle this. For now, for the most immersive experience. I recommend only having sex with fairies in their human forms.
Thank you for your patience and understanding while your modders work on getting things patched. As for Nisa Rehabilitation project, I want to apologize again for the delays, I entered group therapy and therapy last month and it was way more disruptive than I could have imagined. I have mixed feelings on therapy, and I'm sure many of you guys do as well, I maybe should have entered therapy sooner. Regardless, I'm stabilized again. I don't really say this as an excuse but an explanation on why I've been a bit MIA over the last month. I really want to thank you guys so much for your support, I wouldn't be able to continue working on the mod or take care of my health if it wasn't for you guys. I hope this will be my last public statement about my health, as I just want to get out of my head and back to creating the things we all enjoy.

You can see a guide here: https://support.patreon.com/hc/en-us/articles/212052266-Getting-Discord-access But the tldr is that when you link your discord account with your Patreon account, the Patreon bot should auto add you to the mod's discord with the correct role. If it doesn't, by chance, then you usually just need to unlink and relink your accounts again. Even as a creator, I've had to do this before.
