Yes.. This was indeed a true story named “The Rajakannu case”. The husband Rajakannu was dead and the wife parvathy fought the case for 13 long years and got justice. The final slides said that. And the advocate Chandru, whose character Suriya played, has not charged even a single rupee for any human rights cases he handled.
