🕑 Added 2024-06-20 22:16:41 +0000 UTCI have had people ask me to create Items from scratch and that is not possible for me, I am not a modeler, I do not create the items, I only convert the items from Video Games and other 3D formats and RESCULPT them around The G8M or G8F. I do not use programs like Marvelous Designer. I use Blender. I Scale the video game model to the size of G8 characters and pose them to match, then I delete the original character face and hands or any skin the game character has and then I sculpt the clothing items around the G8 figure to get rid of poke through. I export the individual parts as obj and then use the transfer tool in Daz Studio to fit and weight map the items. once the initial fit has completed, I test pose the character with the items in place and inspect it for poke through and any incorrect stretching. I then correct what needs correcting and then texture the items with the game textures. I apply dForce to the items that need it like capes and sashes and such. once all is corrected and working properly, I then save the items as a wearable item. I do not know how to model characters or clothing, but I am trying to learn more but it is a slow process.
