Kichen 2Point0 - Part 2

Of course its also time for another trip down memory lane, to revisit the original Kichen & how it links back to this current iteration. All the items apart from the Wishboner chair have been completely new ideas and meshes, however we wanted to try and capture some of our favourite elements from the original and reimagine them in our current styles. Way back in 2019 Harrie wasn't yet experienced in making new meshes from scratch (Fun fact: The dining table included in the original Kichen was her first ever from scratch mesh!), so a lot of the clutter items were mesh edits of EA items. For our first few collaborations we would actually explore all of the EA items that we felt would fit into our theme, but with the Kichen 2Point0 we made all of the clutter items from scratch. It was so important for us to include new essential clutter pieces in this set as even to this day we will often gravitate towards those original clutter items when building & we still spot them in many of your builds too! We have tried to cover all of the appliances you would need to bring this kitchen to life. Of course with new EA functional items being added with new pack releases we were also long overdue a small appliance refresh that we haven't had in any of our other set releases. Highlights include the functional kettle (requires For Rent EP) & the mixer (requires Home Chef Hustle SP), but of course we have also included decorative versions for those of you that don't have those packs.
Majority of the items are Base Game compatible with the exception of the Mixer & kettle as mentioned above and can be found by searching the B/B catalogue using the keyword 2Point0. As the items are designed for both of our current sets they will also show up when you search using the keywords KLEAN or SOHO
We really can't wait to see what you do with the new items and how you bring them all to life in your game. As always we would love you to tag us in your builds on social media.

I'm having the same issue with the corrupted file and I do not have the cursedforge app, I'm installing manually. Never had this come up before not sure what to do :')

The issue can be resolved by uninstalling using the curseforge app and downloading and installing manually. The CF app is causing the issue

I'm having the corruption issue as well I've tried everything I can think of to fix it (repairing, reinstalling both the game and the mod) and nothing has helped. This is my only new mod installed since I started playing earlier today. Only other mods installed today have been updates that were confirmed working before this was installed. Is there anything else I can try?

turn auto counters off. If its already off, turn it on and back off again to resolve the issue

yes manually download instead of installing through their app. Curseforge is doing something to corrupt the file

Sounds like its a curseforge bug. I would suggest manually downloading from curseforge instead on going through their app

This isnt an error I can reproduce on my computer. I can download and install it from curseforge. I don't know what your security settings are, but I suggest you download the unmerged version and try that instead. As I said to the others there isn't that I can change to fix your issue

So I tried removing both part 1 and 2 from curse forge directly, and now my game is running! But it does state that the file is corrupt on curse forge as well, even after reinstalling both parts it wouldn't let me start the game. But removing them through curse forge did work.

Hi, I'm encountering the same issue that other people are stating where it says this download file is corrupted, even when removed from the mod folder, and I have tried both repairing the game and reinstalling it completely, none have worked. I'm not sure how else to fix this, any advice?

The original download file is not corrupted. Corruption happens on the downloaders side, so I suggest redownloading and trying again as there is nothing for me to fix on my end

I love this set but I'm having trouble with the fulll height oven stove combos and the full height counters :( the lover part of the stove is covered. When it's only the oven it doesn't happen. IDK if it's just me though, is this something that anyone else has experienced?

Thats not really something that requires a fix, but rather a glitch in the game. An appliance cabinet is simply a regular counter with decor slots like any other counter. I think the issue comes in when you place the oven onto it with MOO enabled. I haven't tested this theory out, but I know from personal experience that if I place a sink with MOO enabled my sims will constantly use that counter to prep their food with the chopping board floating on top. I think the game is glitching out when MOO is being used to place certain items, so I would recommend placing without MOO enabled to ensure the game sees the counter as occupied instead of free

Is there anyway to fix the cabinet for the high oven so sims do not place finished plates on it? I have to move the oven in order to retrieve the completed dish. I love your work and I've seen this issue with similar cabinets from other creators as well, so I'm not sure if this is fixable.
