Updates and plans
🕑 Added 2020-08-26 18:17:17 +0000 UTCHey everyone, I'm sorry to say that I haven't animated at all these days, I've been completely obsessed trying to figure out modeling for SFM.
Well, what I've realized; making a new model (even doing combinations with others) is something that will take me months to learn. The good news, is that after a lot of researching, I've learned to modify models in Blender and take them back to SFM, which means that I can finally fix the issues that made me hate Sarah's model so much!
Here's a comparison of how her arms looked vs my quick fix in Blender (I still have to polish this of course).
With this fix, I can finally make more positions to work!
I've decided that is way better that I improve this model for now because I want to do another short as soon as possible.
I will write down a couple of short ideas I have and make a poll for you to vote for (poll will last two weeks).
While you are voting:
- I will do Alice's animation.
- I'll be dedicating my time to improve Sarah's model: better deformations, revamp textures and if I learn to, add new clothing.
Poll with the short ideas will be posted on next Monday (August 31) and end on September 14, which gives me plenty of time to improve Sarah's model as much as I can.
I'm really excited with this, with all the feedback and with what I've learned with the past project, I expect to do something even better! Thanks to everyone for the patience and support!
