May Inks and an Apology

Parts finally came in for my computer upgrade, and that required a new installation of windows on the hard drive. I didn't lose files from that, but it performed an update without permission and restarted while I was asleep, which removed the scan sketch files before I saved them. We've got inks, though, and colors are nearly there!

If there is one thing I hate it's windows updates. I found two ways that can sort of stop them. One is to have video constantly playing so it thinks your doing something, and the other way is to stop it waking up while it's in sleep mode by turning off the network adapters ability to wake up PC (wired or wireless) so it can't wake up your PC to do updates. Congrats on getting your new parts! Always love new computer parts as it's interesting to see what new tech comes out of it. And can't wait to see the finished colours!
