Update 0.8.4 Progress Report
🕑 Added 2024-07-26 18:04:49 +0000 UTCAt long last, today we finished the development of Operation Lovecraft's VR mode and the the seventh research pass: Talon, the Aviator.
While we still need some time for internal testing and localization before pushing them to the beta branch, a regular update is coming to Steam next week.
Update 0.8.4 includes rework of 10 sex scenes, 2 additional costumes for the Juzi research pass, 3 outfit sets and 6 anal plugs that can be purchased from Nemed Flagship Store.
Affinity system is implemented and you may level up the affinity of an investigator to "Crush" level, unlocking pubic hair, mouth tape, womb tattoo, finger/toe nail customization, additional preset slot and high affinity touch reactions.
The framework for in-game and steam achievements, trading cards and inventory is also complete.
We postponed this month's poll trying to showcase a render of Mina before the poll so you may give us feedback in the vote, however with our hands full with the VR mode and new research pass it's difficult to say if we can make it in time. The poll will be held before the month ends regardless.

Hey, just a heads up! When I click on the gallery Icon, the game freezes. CPU Temps immediately shoot up to 100%. This has been happening for a while. I just yesterday replaced my CPU and motherboard and it is still happening. Is it just me?

Obviously take this with a big grain of salt, but according to Helius's past updates and progress reports on here and in the Discord, the road map after VR and Talon is Galatea and story/combat mode. Who knows what the timeline and actual release will be. Edit: I forgot about Dormitory Mode, which is also slated to be next.

I know it perhaps sounds like entitled whining after finally getting updates regarding VR but is there plans at all for actual gameplay? Just some sort of a reason to want to come back to the game. Something besides an animation viewer.
