Update 0.8.25 Progress Report & Change List
🕑 Added 2024-05-15 06:15:04 +0000 UTCFor those who haven't noticed, our page was suspended by Patreon last week for reviewing. The next research pass will be Talon as we need to make sure Galatea and Yanshi meet the criteria of Patreon. Galatea is still in the queue, the problem was that we did not replace the screenshots of Galatea and Yanshi's old models on Patreon, which were dangerously petite for both Steam and Patreon. Now with the new models approved by Steam, we are confident they can be greenlit on Patreon as well.
In the upcoming update 0.8.25, we improved the rendering of socks, stockings and pantyhose, separated them into a new category, which means they can be mixed and matched with other costume pieces. All pantyhose and stockings now can be ripped and half dressed.
Physics effects have been added to necklaces, eardrops, nipple piercings and other costume parts that should be dynamic.
You can now select the point of view of any actor in the scene, either male or female, as the first person view camera.
High heels can now be equipped in most sex scenes, and the girls' ankles will now swing based on the speed and intensity of animations if their feet is in the air.
Facial expressions have been reworked, a new facial expression system will be implemented to generate real-time facial and mouth animations based on the investigator's mood and sexual status.
A new consecutive orgasm system has been implemented. If the same girl reaches climax within 5 minutes after the last one, the consecutive orgasm count will increase, gradually activating various effects such as urine leak, aheago, love juice splashing, sweating, squirting and flow of tears.
Please note that some of the functionalities are still in testing phase and may not be able to be shipped in the first version of 0.8.25. The update is scheduled to be shipped in a week.
Time to talk about the in-game economy. We've always planned to address the flaws in the current economic system, yet the importance of performance optimization and improving overall sex scene experience took precedence in previous updates. Now it is time to fix things.
Before the combat mode is implemented, all progress and resource gaining heavily relies on the length of time players spend online. For an adult game, the repetitive manual labor is both uninteresting and meaningless. The arbitrary Likes income exacerbates this issue: spending hours online only to receive a few likes is always frustrating.
Starting from version 0.8.25, completing daily tasks rewards an additional 30 research points (increased from 50 to 80). When players accumulate a total of 500 research points every week, they will be able to immediately claim 100 likes, enough to purchase almost all items in the weekly shop. The number of Likes earned in the rewards section of the research pass will also be increased from 20 to 30, and progress points can also be earned from simultaneous climax, having sex with other player's avatars in bondage.
Outfit pieces will no longer appear in the Peer Review Committee but will instead be sold at the Nemed Flagship Store. The shop offers 5 currently unowned pieces and refreshes weekly. These clothing items can be purchased using data fragments or NEP.
Gifts and repair gels can be purchased with Likes from Nemed Flagship Store and Peer Review Committee.
Starting from 0.8.25, new patrons who pledge 36 usd to acquire the closed beta key will only receive one free Advanced Research Pass instead of two. On the other hand, the price to purchase insights without the first time bonus will be cheaper.

The one you posted approximately February 25, 2024 is removed from your Patreon suggesting that one was actually denied by Patreon right? This seems inconsistent with your telling us that one was approved. I ask to make sure we're on the same page as you because this has continued to be so problematic and there are conflicting details. It is not in-engine, either, but a 3rd party software render. Can we see how she looks now and is that the version of Galatea you are promising was approved and we're going forward with? The pole dance back in October 2023 was in-engine but she has been changed since and that one the artist admitted he screwed up her face pretty bad and the lighting was really not good in that scene, plus the engine has been reworked to UE5 with visual changes and improved lighting. I can assure you the community would substantially appreciate the goodwill considering and if she has, indeed, been approved it shouldn't be a problem to post something would it not?

The facial expressions update is a very interesting one to hear about. If the facial expression update is not in the next update can we get a video, more than the limited one on Twitter, showcasing it in different moods? This is a pretty significant update worth showing off.

You need to post an in-engine screenshot of Galatea's current appearance you are talking about since you are now talking about more changes to her figure and your wording is vague. Was the prior screenshot the same figure we're getting or is it part of the "old models" has it been modified since? Plus, the prior one if it is the same was pre-rendered outside of the game's engine so it will look very different. It would be very highly appreciated, considering the constant delays, if we got to see video of the current Galatea in a showcase for the delay and to fully set expectations while we wait because, honestly, at this point it's a bit...

Love to see the Stockings/Pantyhose update. Still not that happy with another curvy model... but skinnier ones are on the way. And less grind is always good. Oh and: why can't daily tasks no longer stack up to 3? I'd rather do 3 every 3 days instead of having to log in every day.

Game works on steam deck, but the controls need to be refined. Though I got around the issue using the steam decks control remapping feature. Also noticed the game wasn't using controller icons. Thanks, keep it up.
