April Progress Report

The rebuilding is now 85% complete. We are currently merging dev branches and running optimization tests.
We will collab with a company that has participated in the porting of various first party PlayStation games and has an extensive experience in the area of PC game optimization. It's the first time that we collaborate with an external partner, so there might be some unforeseeable issues incoming, but I'm fairly optimistic.
- VR
The prototype of the new VR mode has been 60% completed with some issues with physics and clipping, once the rebuilt game goes live we will integrate it into the new framework before starting to debug and polish the build.
- GALATEA
We have made considerable progress in pushing Galatea to the Steam version. Normally Valve guideline would not allow characters not looking safely mature to be depicted in a sexual way, but our reviewer agreed that we can add Galatea's story and romance scene in a "case by case" approach - which means she can be added to Operation Lovecraft as long as the contents passed their prelaunch review. There's still some uncertainties, but one thing that we are sure about is that Galatea won't be cut from the game as many may have feared.
- TACTICAL COMBAT
With our force stretching thin with all the aspects of development, we have recruited and formed a new team dedicated to the Combat Drill mode. We have now moved past the design and demo phase and the combat mode is currently in preproduction.
- COOP MODE
Idle bondage mechanism involves devices such as Kabeshiri, pillory and breeding mount. A maximum of two players can interact with an idle player's avatar at the same time. Check out the last two images in this post.
