New Feet Textures

We have found the cause of the graphic glitches in 0.8.8 (blurry textures, low-poly meshes, malfunctioned LOD, unusally high GPU usage, etc). There were some low level flaws with VSM and Lumen in older versions of Unreal Engine that we previously used in-house fix recompiled into the engine code to alleviate. After 5.5 those fixes stopped working as Epic applied their own optimizations to reduce memory overhead, so this problem can only be rectified after we upgrade the engine to 5.6, which will take a bit of time.
We will release a patch in a couple of days disabling VSM to ensure that you don't need to boot the game in DX11 (essentially disabling Lumen, Nanite and VSM) to make the current game build run smoothly, before we finish the upgrade.

In the latest patch 0.8.8d, we applied optimizations to make the game run better and improved the investigators' feet textures.
Connecting to the Harem Mode map should now take less time. Have fun!

i still haven't been able to play this game without just fatal erroring I'm guessing that's never going to be fixed at this stage. i have a top of the range pc rig it should not be struggling to run a game like this
